Quote: he's got a lot to address. it probably started as front end damage, and was then stripped down for the most part.

Yeah, the OO rearended his GF after she had hit a deer. From there a guy on here bought it and parted it out. He finally put the stripped shell on here and I bought it. He still owes me a hood, DS fender, and door. Well, it's been months and haven't gotten them yet. It's gonna be a slow build. Plans for the moment are to just get the front end fixed, motor/tcase/diffs, brakes...list goes on. Car started life as a Evo9 MR, but I don't think I'm goingto build a mivec motor to drop in. Thanks to linuxman, I've got a few more parts. Btw, after leaving your place, I took a wrong turn. Thinking I was only about another 45-60minites from home...I realised I was in bham.lol great ride with the GF thought.
If y'all have seen my posts, some may remember that I'm joining the Marines. Well my ship-date has been pushed back. They are trying to get my new ship date as soon as possible, but we all know how the government works. Anyway, this gives me time to keep moving forward with my project and hopefully meeting more local evo'ers.
If y'all have any spare or extra parts you don't mind parting with, feel free to PM me.
Whoflungpoo, I thought I PMed you, but I was probably on my phone so I'll PM you back shortly.

sleep who needs sleep? worked on WFP's head some more last night, got it mostly roughed in.

interesting comparing %'s with other ported heads, some of it is similar some of it is waaay different. not quite like the volvo head though, I think I like the port design in my 16v volvo head a bit better, but this isn't bad. lotta residual casting crap in the bowl area though. It's kinda wild working around the EGR port in the #4 runner too, interestingly enough it had very little impact on the numbers for that exhaust port open or plugged (+- 2 cfm in the higher lift areas, barely noticeable). velocity drop on my bench probably has as much to do with that as anything, but hey, it's good for comparison and balancing.

LOL. Daddy needs a turbo rebuild for the volvo

I'll probably try and get it down to the machine shop for a quick dip tomorrow.
