DLL is the software he used, SAE is the correction factor for certain conditions.

car club will meet weds. 7:30 at the boiling pot on atlanta highway. reminds me, I need to pass the word around. We're going to start doing monthly meetings since weekly is a bit too much.

Gee, I was wondering why there was so much old school muscle rolling around Hoover and Vestavia the last couple of days.

Yeah. We (the local SCCA chapter) put on an autocross for them. I was there running timing. Some pretty cool cars ran through, including an all-original '59 'Vette and a Ford GT with straight pipes. There are some pics on the Hot Rod site somewhere.

oh man. been busy. too busy. So busy in fact, that I had to sneak in car shopping during my bachelor party this weekend, but.. found a shell for the volvo. its gold. Could be worse, but I don't know how long I can deal with that. I'm kind of a grey nondescript volvo guy, nothing some paint can't fix later on I guess.

started taking the engine apart, looks like the engine fire was more or less contained on the intake side (intake port side, of all things), the exhaust manifold got slightly 'adjusted', and the tial 38mm is jacked pretty bad (the base deformed, locked the valve up on the seat)

Anyone got an old tial 38 floating around for relatively cheap?

but the really bummer news (For me) was the broken chra and bent turbine wheel
it's just a P-trim, but still.

I know this is a stretch but I'm wondering if anyone has any Evo VII tail lights for sale within Alabama? Or if anyone knows of a pretty cheap place to find them. I've been around eBay and MitsubishiParts.net and they seem to be lowest but I'm hoping I could get some around here.

Thanks!
