Sounds like the 12th is a no go then. How bout we punt it down to the 20th? There's a autox at John Hunt Park too that day so we could do the meet there?

Sure...I haven't been out to an autocross in awhile at JHP but unless they changed the setup there is always enough space out away from everyone who is running to have a small gathering.

Any possible ideas for dinner/hangout after the event? I know a lot of people travel and the people who are participating will be out there all day and probably tired...but we could always head to a place for R&R after.

lol Yea I definitely need seat time. I've only autox twice in the last 2 years and both times were in a STX BMW and NOT my Evo.....soooooo we'll see how rusty I am in an AWD car.

Why isn't there/don't we start a Huntsville cars&coffe like they have in Bham? They meet at a parking structure from 8:30-10:30 (or something like that) every Sunday. All makes and models welcome and they get some really cool stuff down there, like Ferraris and the like. Anyone else interested in something like that?

I was driving north on I-65 last night from Bham to Huntsville. There was a black Lancer with New York tags that came up behind me. I thought it was a Ralliart since it had the same grill and chrome ring but no hood vents. My brain almost locked up I was so confused lol.

Had a different exhaust that a stock lancer does and a Road////Race sticker where the Ralliart badge would be on the trunk. If you're on here I'd like to know that the heck your Frankencar is lol.

There is something similar it just isn't as big or as often. Most people go to the Nashville or Birmingham Cars and Coffee events since we are between both.

You can probably dig more up about it here: www.huntsvillecarscene.com

There is. 1st Saturday of every month at the corner of the Parkway and University Drive in the Books a Million parking lot. I went for the 1st time this past Saturday in my Evo. It's hosted by Tennessee Valley Region-SCCA. You can find more info on FB or teamTAC.org (http://teamtac.org/e107/e107_plugins...opic.php?85433) It's been going for a few months now.
