I changed my oil, and in the process overfilled it and blew it all over my engine bay/under the car. It looks as though it mainly came out of my dipstick and oil cap. I'll take it out for a shakedown here in a bit to confirm if I have any seal leaks or not. :-/

i would double check the gasket on the oil filter.. if u double gasket'd it(old one didnt come off with the old filter).. it would blow out everywhere. its kinda hard to overfill a car that only requires 4qts of oil..
that sucks dude. now im bored as crap.. drove around hoover fora bit and hit up the mall.. now i guess im just gunna stay home and get drunk the rest of the night.

yeeeeeeeeeeah, I fell prey to the FSM's 5.5 capacity, got antsy and went for a run without checking the dipstick after the oil had settled.
I'm a moron. Yes, I know know that 5.5 is for the BONE DRY fillup. I forgot that I didn't drain my oil cooler, and had pre-filled the oil filter. (this oil change lasted more than 1 day thanks to some gasket installs that required the oil pan to be emptly)

evoWWrs....I think we are going to abduct you and force you to do clutch installs and transfer case rebuilds all day long for free. Sorry, thats the price you must pay for knowing how to do stuff.
I've got one pulled from a warranty car sitting around. I have no idea what its current condition is, but its supposed to be good. I was going to have it rebuilt regardless one day as a backup if I ever went with a high power build. I'd let it go for real cheap. PM me if you're interested.
just as an FYI there is an autox in birmingham this weekend on the 26th! C and I will be there for the novice but not driving seeing how April was just not our month for our Evos.
hope some of you can make it.
