Hey, chiming in from Pascagoula, MS (45m from Mobile). Is it too much to ask for the closest Evo to not be a million hour drive away.

Hey guys im new to this forum and just wanted to find some evo owners or mod'd lancers, i just traded in my rx8 for a 2009 Ralliart couldnt afford the evo only 19 :-/ so I dont know how that will fit in but i live in Huntsville, Alabama btw

the autox is at the Birmingham Dog Track off of 459 exit 31.

you should come out and run your car! we have a new novice class that allows all novice to only run against novice. that way you are not thrown into a class with guys that having been racing for 20 yrs.

yep! ^^ its alot of fun. i will try to get there if i can. but ill probably be putting a new motor in my car sunday. so i might be missing out again.

it will be installed tomorrow at noon.. 1 day late. hopefully Q till be able to help me out monday morning and ill be able to start her back up..

I MIGHT be at the autox in the morning. but i have to head to my work at 1 to meet up with my mechanic and assitant manager to install my motor, ill be pulling an all nighter so she is ready for monday.. (sorry)

If im at the autox, you better give me a ride or two!

(dont forget to call me about 8 or 9, before the drivers meeting so i have time to get there)

well we had a great event sunday. the weather was AWESOME! the course was super fast throughout with tight places that if you were brave enough you could squeeze through if not it was hard on the breaks! i even had to shift to 3rd for the very fast finish which i never have to do. the results are not up but all the Evos finished with great times.

next on is March 29th.

 

Well the subarus definitely turned out at the autox. The evos were only 3 deep though. 4 if you count Matt who didnt run.

 

yeah they tend to out number us but thats ok as long as we are the faster! great job by the way Chris, most of the guys were super impressed with your first autox times in your Evo. hope you will be able to make some more this season.
