I would be there, but we have work to do this weekend.

Hey C and Sara, I bought a set of used HKS hipermax RS coilovers today. They are supposedly in great shape, but the guy gave me all the information if I want to send them off and get the front ones rebuilt. I only gave $650 for them. Retail is $1600.

C, yeah, I will probably definitely take some help on the install. I have done it before, but the more experienced hands the better. I really dont want to install them in the driveway of my apartment either. I also got an engine torque damper off the guy too. Hopefully the stuff will be here by the end of the week. Once I see the coils I will determine whether or not I want to send them off.

Sweet. It should be a pretty easy install since there is no spring, strut assembly required. So, he says there is about 12k miles on these, and he tracked them some. Whats your opinion on sending the fronts in to get them rebuilt. It will cost me about 300 he says. The thing is once they are on and aligned, I'd really like to just be done with it and not have to pull em off again in 6 months and go through all the trouble again. Although, maybe its no big deal.

Opinions...anyone...anyone.

Well, according to him after talking to they guy at HKS, they would be rebuilt in California. Cause I said the same thing. Shipping them to Japan would be a PITA.
