ya... more upsets to join Q.

my little sister wrecked her car(Orange mazdaspeed protege) this morning.. (shes 23 weeks preg) car will more then likely be a total loss. wasnt a high speed accident, and wasnt her fault, and happened less then a 1/4 mile from my house.. (and her drive to work everyday is 1.3 miles long).. she seemed alright, but i dont know to much else untill she gets to the hospital and gets ok'd by a doctor.. luckly she works for lifegaurd, and her dispatch got an ambulance to her before cops even arrived. if it would of been any worse i would have gone with her to the hospital.

(all needs to be replaced, air bags did not go off = front passanger corner gone.. hood,f bumper, pass door, windshield, lower control arm, rad, rad support, and im sure the oil leaking out the car is the oil cooler leaking, when i saw the suspension damage i instantly said its gone, ill find out later this afternoon.)

Yeah, and I drive for a living so imagine my frustration. Between that and all of the construction I get stuck in, it's needless to say I stay stressed. Alcohol to the rescue!

Well Looks like the damage is right at $11,000....I'll be starting the process of getting all these parts together, from Front Bumper to Fenders to Hood, Intercooler, Oil Cooler, etc.....
The Shop is coming along, I'm at getting the Electrical in place next week and then I should be good to go here in a few weeks. It's taken way longer than I had hoped for but the end is in sight. At least everything is paid for and I own the property, Building and everything in it outright. That should help my business not having all those payments.
Looks like EPM will now have a Major Project car Build...lol...

Sorry to hear about your sister Daniel, I'm sure she and the baby will be ok. Let me know if there is anything that I can do to help.

evoWWrs if you got Electrical skills you are more than welcome to help out. I've got my Neighbor helping me set everything up. We should be rocking and rolling very soon. First on the agenda...Project Red...lol... and everyone else's stuff that I need to get caught up on. Thanks for being patient with me whilst I get the shop fully functional. Looks like we are going to have to speed up the development of some of these Carbon Fiber parts that were on the agenda.

Congrats again "D" on the acceptance to Radiology School. Gald to hear your sister and Baby are gonna be OK !

Got my check today and will start my buying spree come Monday. I'll prob go with the C-West Front Bumper but I might decide to go back to a Voltex. I have had both at one time but let them both go, now I need to make up my mind for-real this time around. Also will be getting a Carbon Hood and maybe Carbon Fenders. Anybody know of some gently used excellent condition parts let me know. I am on the hunt for sure to save some $$ so that I can do everything that I want/need to do to Red.

Here is a partial List of parts needed.....
C-West or Voltex or Varis Front Bumper
CF Canards to go with Bumper
Seibon CF or Voltex Wide front fenders
Rexpeed CF side skirt diffusers
Seibon CF CWII or used Voltex Hood
EPM front CF Undertray/Diffuser
Front Mount Intercooler ?
New Windshield
JDM Rear Bumper (I already have this part, yet to be installed)
Voltex Rear CF Diffuser
Coilovers

My List is bigger but thought maybe some of you might know someone wanting to get rid of these parts. Anybody know of these parts for sale, let me know...thnxxx...

Shop is almost finished, if the rain will hold up this weekend it will be 100% closed-in and ready for Electrical come Monday. Here are a few pics from a couple of weeks ago. The front and sides have been finished and painted with only the back left to finish with the Hardie Paneling. Building is 100% open inside with no posts or beams to get in the way. At right at 1000 sq/ft the pics just don't do it justice. It is a very large building with parking for 6 cars inside if need be.

Sweet shop, how much $ to build it? (I ask because I could be in the same position before too long.. wouldn't need to be that big, but it'd give me a good general idea).

Finally broke down and put the cams and springs in, a bit more of a pain in the *** than anticipated, but hey, learning experience, right?
Car sounds mean at idle, now I need to spend some time and tune it.
