Moving back to NC!!!!

around late May/June time frame i will be separating from the Navy and moving back to NC. it's been a long six years and honestly i will be alittle lost for the most part. right now Charlotte is looking to be my place of residance as i am not moving back to my little hick town(Mount Airy). so any help/suggestions of areas to look at for living. and any small places of interest would be greatly appreciated.

Now i am somewhat familiar with Charlotte as my brother used to live down there. also commuting isn't really a big deal after living in San Diego for the last four years.

Good luck, my brother in law is in the Navy, and is getting out in Jan. 12 years in!! He is a System P administrator and should make 95K+ in the private sector, it was worth it for him to get out now.

thanks guys, i was born and raised in NC and i can't dream of being anywhere else once i get out. i've lived in a number of places around the US (Va. Beach, Chicago, San Diego). I am a electronic tech and looking to make equal if not more than what i do now. The Raliegh/Durham area is anothe place i'm looking at. as long as it's in the piedmont area thats pretty much where i'm looking.

on another note: i'm excited to see how my evo likes 93.

don't tempt me! thats good, E85 is hard to find in socal. not very many places carry it. i'd run it if i had the injectors and supporting mods to go with it.

but i will need a 93 map once i get there.
