Took the Evo to Deals Gap with the Subaru club. It was great. Got 6 hours of driving in, and my tires are dead. The Evo did great. It was a good time, my first time there. We need to organize a trip up there. The Subarus want to do it again and it would be nice to have a few Evos up there. Let me know who it up for it.

I am up for a Dragon meet. I'll probally get some cheaper tires though as I don't want to wear these out in one trip.

I was wondering if you went since I did not see you at the autocross. Did you go both days and how much better was it compared to the other runs we have done?

 

How far away is it from us?

 

When I went up there we made several gas/food stops. I imagine if you just got in your car and went you could be there in less than 3 hours. No traffic jams to contend with, easy drive.

 

 

I know the NSX people used to go up there all the time and said it was a blast. Want to have a drive up there and get some other people? Also I don't think I have ever seen your car and I live in Kennesaw as well and drive my evo everyday. I live about 1 mile from KSU

 

I live off of Jiles road. I go down Cobb Pkwy everyday to work. Don't always drive the Evo, but often I do.

Anyone else interested? I got alot of Suby friends that would probally want to make a return vist to the Dragon.

I can't go this weekend, but how about, November 1st.
I know some guys are doing the autocross school on Oct 25th. I might do that too. For the guys in Atlanta there is a Mobil station on 400 N that we can meet at. It is to the right of the first Exit with a stop light. As we get closer to the date I will post specific instructions. Then we can cruise up 400, catch 129/19 and take 129 all the way to the Dragon, plus play on the roads going there.
As for the non Atl drivers, we can plan to meet at the gas station at the entrance to the Dragon. I am sure we could swap some phone numbers if everyone agrees to the this date.
If that date does not work, throw out some suggestions, we probably will not be able to get everyone, but, lets try to get as many as we can.
