Hey whats up guys, i havent been on here in a while, but we're still meeting up on wednesday nights at Harbor Freight @ 7, then driving to a place to eat. We would love to see a bunch of Evo's riding with us. Like I have said before, the more the merrier. Let me know if you plan on coming tonight!

 

Well not much has been going on the past few weeks. I dropped my car off at Majestic (their new place is nice by the way). They're putting in my BR tranny, Shep Stg. II transfer case with the Quaife LSD, and the Exedy triple disk. It would have been done yesterday but they were waiting on fluid from the Mitsu. dealership. I'm expecting to pick it up this afternoon. Needless to say I'm pretty excited.

I would have preferred to take it to SpecOps so they could put all my parts in at once but the only thing I'm waiting on is the half rad from Fluidyne, but my clutch had one foot in the coffin and my tranny was feeling uncomfortably buttery smooth. <-- Paranoia?...yes.

 

I would love to meet up on Wednesday nights but im working nights now! Plus hedging ready to head out on the 26th MEU!

Andrew, nice to hear your car is coming along. To bad you didn't get it up to spec ops! Call me , we need to chill, deploying soon.

Yes we do. I just got the car back today. Everything just feels so solid now. The tranny feels the way it shoud, the Quaife LSD is awesome, and the triple disk is sick. Too bad I have to take it easy for ~500 miles. It's going to be a long 500 miles. Now all I need to do is throw some power at it. I'm reconsidering going the FP Black route for now, just to see how it like it.

Sounds like a deal. Feels good knowing I can drive my car now without having the fear of my clutch going out or my tranny letting go.

Andrew, good to hear you got your car ready for the power upgrades. Of course I know you are itching to change something, it has been 5 minutes since you last did.

So is there any kind of confirmation on what Evos are going? I met a guy with a white Evo X on Wednesday night. Seemed to be a pretty cool guy. Said his car was running really crappy, and this and that so he probably won't be driving it. I think I have 2 other guys with Evos going with me along with my buddy with an S2k for sure. I feel bad I'm not taking mine to the event but eff that to driving 2 hours without cruise control if I don't have to. Plus the Z cruises at high speeds better anyway.

I should probably read up more on when the events start and try to get a better game plan together...

Im taking my Evo and another guy, who is taking his 2nd Gen Eclipse GSX, are leaving New Bern around 3pm Saturday. Im stay the night there and helping Bobbi Sunday morning with some things.

 

Yeah we are think about leaving Jacksonville around 330. I'm just waiting on my gf to be ready to go and I don't feel like driving all the way there in the dark. Should be me, my buddy with the S2k, another guy in a Honda, and a yellow Evo 8.

Dyno Day at Force Fed this Saturday, Dec 17th. There will be food. Rollers start at 11am. If you want to get tuned, get ahold of them to set it up. One last get together before the new year.
