I was a lonely Evo out there!!!

I'm going to the track to see what 373/370 will do.

I heard some Evo decided to leave some of it's transmission pieces and fluids all over the track here on Friday!

Yeah, that's me. I'm at Rays a decent amount. Especially since he lives less than 5 minutes away.

 

Ding ding! Didn't leave tranny parts though, they stayed in housing, transfer case on the other hand deposited chunks of the case on the track.

 

That sux to hear... time for a shep rebuild!!

 

I heard it from a second hand source. They said transmission. I figured myself that it was the TC that decided to take a permanent vacation, but that was the way I was told. Some of the guys on a local muscle car forum I'm on weren't too happy about it because apparently it took like half an hour to clean it up.

I've been well over 400 for a long time and while my transmission does need a rebuild, I haven't left parts of it at the track...yet. Guess he found out his car's limits the hard way! I heard from the same source that his car was wheel hopping and **** off the line. Not sure if that is true though.

 

I made it in town. So there will be a yellow evo running around from time to time. Ill have to meet up with you guys one day.

 

Do you have blacked out tails? If so.. I've already spotted you..lol

 

Been there. I blew up a transfercase when messing around on the street. Time for a Shep my friend.

My BR tranny is sitting in my back seat and my transfersace is getting built at Shep right now. I'm going with the stage II with a Quaife LSD.

On a side note. I'm in effin Tucsan AZ right now. We're flying 6 53's cross-country to EMV. This sucks…

 

Sooo does anyone else plan on coming out tomorrow night? Again we'll meet up at 7 @ Harbor Freight, then drive to a restaurant of choosing. I know that last wednesday Dan (SRTRaceR04) came out. Let me know!! Like I said the more the evo's the better!!

 

Working nights this week.. so no go for me!

 

I'll probably be out. We're hitting Wilmington tonight. I haven't really checked out the car scene there before so I guess I'll see how it turns out.

So what time do you guys meet up at on wed, i can try and make it out if i dont have anything going on.
