Camp Lejeune/Jacksonville Evos (NEW)
So my car has been running funny. I started noticing the sputtering noise coming from the engine bay and figured it for an exhaust leak.
Well after some searching and this and that came to find out the gasket connecting from the manifold to the turbo was messed up. I didn't realize how bad until a little bit ago. Literally about half of the gasket was left. Also all the manifold gaskets were barely passed finger tight.
The kicker was the 4 bolts connecting the manifold to the turbo were as follows: 2 were in all the way (although not very tight), one was halfway in (might as well not even have been there), and one was missing completely. Seems to me like this definitely helped with the deterioration of the gasket. Not sure what other problems these could have cause, but I'm hoping to have it all back together the right way soon!!

Nah none of it did any damage thankfully.
Got it fixed and back on the road around 730. Feels much better. Even the manifold bolts were kind of loose. Not sure what the last owner did, but they did a ****ty job.
