Just so you guys know. My car got f'ed up 3 days before I left for Afghanistan. I was stopped behind an SUV on New River in front of the PX leaving work. This blue Mustang crashes into me going 10-15 mph which causes me to slam into the SUV in front of me. It's at the Moore Buick Body shop right now. The claimed adjuster estimates ~$12,000. The Mustang guy admits to being at total fault and his insurance is covering the cost. My car only retails for 15-16k though. Luckily he asked me everything I have done to the car and he reappraised it at 25k so the insurance can cover it. I happened at a pretty good time. When I get back, hopefully it'll be back to the way it was.

 

Hey andrew, glad to hear from you all the way from afghannyland.. the awesome that ins will cover everything you have done to the car aswell. Sounds like she will be put back together for you by the time you get back.... be safe out there brother... keep in touch... let me know if you need anything

 

Just read all the drama on the before pages...wow that was intense. But on a different note, will be back from the Stan along with stock_evo^^. Look forward to seeing everyone around.

 

yeah sorry about that dude. Can't wait for you guys to get back, we have 46 people in our club now, and about 13-18 cars that show up on the norm.

wow.. so i just found out that am heading to great ol cherry point in about 5-6 months.. anything going on up there besides DRAMA!! jk

 

^auto-x's thats prolly the only good thing about that area car wise from my opinion and VIR isn't far away at all..i plan on going to the grand-am rolex race in may if anyone else wants to go that would be awesome!

 

Thats something i havent tried yet.. would love to get into the auto-x..

Anyways, hello from Asscrackistan and look forward to getting home from this 9 month deployment. Got orders to busted Quantico a couple of months after I get back from this hole. Hope to meet some of you after I get back, unless you are going to play this drama game.

Holy Crap Dan, a 35R. I didn't see that one coming. Must feel nice with a 2.3 though. I plan on going to a bigger cam when I get back and changing up the meth kit. I was looking at the new Borg Warner turbos, they are an interesting mid-future upgrade.

Anyways if you are going to be in DC, the club is planning a trip to VIR if you want to come. Should be mid march i believe is what we are shooting for

 

Yeah the 35R is great, but my cams are definitely killing me on that one. It's up in the air right now on what I'm doing next because I might be moving back to FL in May. So I'm actually somewhat trying to save money because I don't know how much it will cost to move all my stuff down there.

So when do you get back from the sand box?? My buddy Joe just shipped out to Oki about a 2 weeks ago so his Evo is just sitting at our house til he gets back. It's kind of weird having 3 Evo's just sitting around the driveway and garage most of the time.

It will be nice to see some familiar faces back. Ever Evo owners I see here now I don't know. I try to wave, but I usually just get a blank stare or a borderline middle finger in return.



And with the drama...honestly I didn't know anyone was still talking about it. Literally after my last post on here I forgot about it because I cared that little about it. If people want to keep talking about it then I guess that's cool, but just referencing it (kind of like I'm doing now) just kind of keeps it going. Plus I had a tooth pulled on Saturday that ended up causing a massive infection in my jaw. So I've been in some of the worst pain of my life for the last almost 4 days. I couldn't be less interested in arguing with anyone. I'll just say "you're right" and that's that lol.

There seems to be alot of that going around, I am thoroughly disappointed. Came back from the stan and it almost seems like every evo owner I have seen appears to be complete d-bag. As you stated above, I throw a wave or a couple fingers up and get a look like I am effin high.
