We have actually been playing quite a bit with the Access Tuner Race software to give our customers that share your opinion about the Access Port another option to go to.

I know that you are not in a garage anymore, and that is why i have been mentioning you to the members of my club. I had one member that came out last a couple saturdays ago and was amazed by your tuning.

Right now the jville and cherry point....and gville, and wilmington members are with me where as we don't really know where we want to get tune/work down. But i think it is safe to say that national speed and your shop is the only ones that have come up.

 

Please contact David at Epic motorsports as he knows all about the problems you explain. There is no need for a uproar of bashing when we have not been involved with this whatsoever and are not aware of what was promised to you by them for fixing your problem.

 

As Jason said, we are starting to learn the cobb AP tuning software and once we are COMPLETELY comfortable using it, you will be the first to know. We don't like to put out a half *** product to our customers so when we're 100% confident with it, we will tune the hell outta it and be safe, reliable, great driveability and great power

That was me!!! And yes Spec-Ops FTW!!!!!! I drove home a diverent car after a day with spec ops. I wont go anywhere else. Saw some excellent stuff going on with 8s 9s and Xs while I was there.

Hands down, the most honest, experienced, knowledgeable evo guys in NC.

not bashing...that would be if i was just running my mouth about some dumb stuff. No i am warning others about damage done to my vehicle at your shop, and the lack of willingness to follow through with the repair/replacement. Epic/forced, it is the same shop in the same building, and you were both involved in that dyno day. anyways...

Spec ops, you should have seen his face when he was telling me about it last saturday, it was like he was in love with his car all over again. Awesome stuff!

 

Thats what makes our job so awesome. Seeing and hearing the customer happy and the satisfaction stories of our work. In turn, it brings in more work for us but we haven't been putting it into our pockets. We are constantly improving our shop for you guys and dumping the profits back into building improvements. Our goals are to get the shop comfortable for our customers, improve the vehicle service area, then purchase an AWD dyno

 

Yeah man you are WAY right about that one!

National Speed was SO awesome that they over-revved my car not on one occasion, but 2 separate ones. I clearly put on both dyno days not to rev my car past 7k because of the fact that it's a 2.3L and only had cams and headstuds. First dyno day they revved it to 7400 all 3 pulls. Another dyno day they ran it to ****ing 8k on 3 back to back runs. My valvetrain has been noisy and ticky ever since that day. The car had a 50trim at the time so there was no reason to rev it that high.

Oh yeah and they backed up my car into the wall in the dyno area and scuffed my JDM rear bumper.

Don't get me wrong they have a great facility and when they backed up the car they offered to fix it (which I did not take them up on the offer because just offering to repair it was all the apology I needed as accidents do happen), but I'm still pissed about my car being over-revved because it was a blatant disregard to what I wrote down as my maximum rev limit.


Also whatever is going on between you and Force-fed/Epic is your business, but a lot of what you say will have no sway on people who go there regularly. My buddies head was completely assembled by Justin in one day so that we could pick it up the same day. He went in around 6AM the day of installation to wait on parts and had the car ready and it was tuned by the time we got there that afternoon.

And I don't even have to get into what they have done for me on my own car. I've been nothing but impressed with what has been done for my car and the way I've been taken care of speaks loudly and clearly that they want to take care of their customers/friends.


If you have a problem with getting a part that you feel is due to you then you need to contact the person who is responsible for the damage. If that person is unwilling to comply and give you the part then you need to seek legal help and possibly take that person to court. Bashing people, especially vendors is not a wise decision to make and it makes you sound bitter. And when other vendors do it then it's just downright unprofessional.

Not everyone here is going to get along and we all do have our preference in shops and have "stories" of what has happened to us. Not every shop is perfect and sometimes you draw the short straw and have a bad experience. It happens.

With that said I'm sure after my buddies build is done in the near future both him and I are willing to put our ForceFed cars against anything Spec-Ops in this area. If there is going to be a rivalry might as well make it interesting and I'd rather let the cars do the talking.

National Speed being awesome? yea they have a nice facility but i could care less about that, i got bigger TVs in my house. Anyways I took my car there once to get it tuned for the first time and thought i was good to go. Me being a super noob at the time i had no idea what was going on and thought my car was ready to go in less than an hour. Turns out i herd other stories from more expierenced guys going there to get "tuned" and all they did is raise the boost a little more and minor adjustments. maybe thats what i went through. and maybe why my car ran like crap and idled horrible. Taking advantage of the un expierenced is not the way to go. Im surprised you havent mentioned majestic being the God of all shops. Epic has answered all my noob questions (there has been alot) with patience and detail. Other places would of blown me off.

This whole bashing thing is the most imature way to handel a situation. If you have a problem with a shop there are definitely better ways of handling the situation. Like SRT4Race said try to talk things out, and if all else fails, take legal action. I'm going to put my self in his shoes. After all the ignorant comments made towards Epic and their workmanship ,do you honestly think i would want you coming around my shop!?! better yet allow you to come near me?

Nothing agaisnt Spec Ops becuase i never been there but you club guys are one their n$ts. Sound like Big Al on Buschurs B@lls. Seriously what is this about. Are you trying to gain sponsorship? get a free decal or air freshener to get all the HP u can get?

Being Force-Fed Tuned, myself and SRT4Race would like to expierence what Spec Ops has accomplished for any of the cars in the Lejeune area, whether it be on the track or anywhere. That goes for all 40 members. With so much hype already created why not make it fun?

But you see, this is exactly what they are talking about... We don't ask them to make posts just as I'm sure FFP hasn't asked you to make any. But as you critisize them for doing so, you are doing the same thing right ? And why not seek that person as a customer if they aren't happy somewhere else ? We have nothing to hide, to be scared of.... his car will get treated with respect as it should be. If it comes to bashing later on down the road, obviously that means we did something wrong, and failed to make it right correct ?

I could type in here for days justifying anything that they claim, i will simply say... the proof is in the reviews. The proof is on the track Experience tells all... there isn't anyone in the area who has been doing the Evo thing longer than me. That goes for tuning as well...

I'd be happy to dig up BJs numbers if you'd like.... both what he made with a mild tune on an FP Red and what he ran in the 1/4.... I can dig up the fact that their isn't anyone in this whole entire area with a faster stock turbo 1/4 time than what Matt put down... their isn't anyone in this whole area that has put down a faster 1/4 time on the stock turbo w/o cams than my time. There isn't anyone in this whole area that has won a single event anywhere other than Matt. I will be the first to admit, we dont make our money by building million HP evos, we dont even try.... we make our money by providing the best possible customer service, providing the absolute best personal experience and relationship possible with our customers, and that doesn't stop after the check is signed... and we do all of that at an extremely affordable price. We are in business for you guys, the customers, not we guys.

Perhaps when we hold our BBQ here shortly as a meet and greet and raise some money for a charity we support, you will come by and see what goes on here.

 

^ A lot of that is driver not car. Not knocking the tune or setup or anything like that, but your fast times are due to you driving. That's just like I have yet to see another bone stock Evo run what my brother has run around here. My brother ran consistent 13.2 in his stock 9 MR with almost no drag racing experience and at a notoriously slow track.

Hell the best I could get my 9 to go was 13.1 and he turned around and ran 12.6 like it was nothing. He was just the faster driver.

 

In that case... my fastest time is a 12.7 bone stock... i was on a 5 speed though.

I agree, a lot is the driver mod.... tires, track etc.... thats what makes things like this hard to tell. However, its always fun to have a good track day. As long as everything is on the table as far as the actual mods, gas being used etc.... im up for anything. We love racing in these parts

 

Do you have a timeslip for that?? That might be one of the fastest bone stock times I've ever heard of. So either you had a factory freak or something else is up. I'm not saying it's not possible, but I've seen VERY few Evos break 12's stock and even fewer doing better than a 12.8. 12.8 is the fastest I know of for a stock Evo and it sure as hell wouldn't be at this track!!
