Hi people, basically im an Aussie coming from sydney Australia to florida from the 8th to the 18th of April (to see the mrs family), i have my own workshop here in Sydney and i mainly work on JDM imports like GTRS, EVOS, Supras, Rx7' etc. And im looking to see some US workshops and do some driving days.
I have afew shops in mind to see like Titan and AWD motorsport, anyone else have any in mind that would be worth a look? ill be staying in orlando and going to miami and around florida, so i wont be worried about long trips.
I would also like to do afew driving days if i could, been looking at richard petty driving experience (nascar driving day) looks ok, but to be honest looks like they keep it pretty slow and controlled.
I was hoping to see a nascar or le-mans series race aswell but looks like im coming at the wrong time for that.

Any tips would really be helpful guys, thanks in advance.

 

Ya Titan and Mike at AWD would be good spots to stop by.. as far as driving experience... Richard Petty School blows **** and its even slower now that someone managed to kill themselves at it a awhile back so they are even stricter.. as far as events.. we finished the 24hrs at Daytona in January but your in for a treat.. And yeah the nascar thing looks like its very tightly controlled, = NO FUN

but please if anyone else has any tips please let me know.

 

EvoVIIIFL nailed it on the head, in south Florida AWD Motorsports and Titan are really the only shops that have a solid reputation without any BS. AWD has always been good to me and they are always swamped so that speaks volumes for them and the business.

I did the NASCAR ride along a couple of years ago and it was ok, nothing to really write home about, the speed was unimpressive, the banking on Daytona was sick though and really the only part I enjoyed... probably because AWD built me a beast hahahaha!

Only thing I can think of is SeaWorld and Universal..thats really about it

 

Theres a new driving experience out at Disney where you can drive Lambo, ferrari's, Audi R8's and a couple other cars. Its worth checking out but a little pricey. We will be down at Sebring raceway this coming weekend for a Hpd event held by Chinmotorsports. Its something worth checking out
