so after about a 3 month wait I will be getting the evo back tomorrow! my friend will be driving it down from Atlanta for me and I feel like I'm buying it all over again. I know there are some guys from the charleston area lurking around these parts so if anybody wants to meet up tomorrow night then just let me know.

well nothing really. bonus and tax money= Shep rebuilt trans. note to self... not the best time to send tranny out for rebuild during tax season. lol

 

what was the turnaround time?

 

lol 3 months total.

 

Damn. Its going on 1 month for me but they are wrapping up my transmission at this point.

 

what options did you go with? I went with the rem isf and evo 8 3/4 gears.

 

It was previously built with REM and Ultimate gearing. It was damaged so they are rebuilding it. 1st gear, 2nd gear, 1st gearset, 1st to 2nd hub and 3 to 4 hub, all syncros and sliders and my bell housing was cracked (Probably from when my motor grenaded 2 years ago and 2 different speed shops missed it), and 2 screwed up clutch jobs later.
