I had the opportunity to mention this to a few of the EVO members during the meet Saturday night. But I wanted to invite everyone out. Every year, GA 3S (3000GT/Stealth) and GA DSM rents out Silver Dollar Raceway and

Here is the basic on the event:

GA 3S/GA DSM Track Day and Import Showdown Presented By MVP Motorsports
When: May 23rd, 2004
Time: 10am gates open (racing starts at 11)
Where: Silver Dollar Raceway, Reynolds GA
What: Open passes & competition
Cost: $10 gate entry (race or watch), $15 dollar tech cards (to make passes) - $25 total to run.

Now in it's 4th year, the event consists mostly of open runs - make as many passes as you want. At the end of the we run our competition runs for cash payouts. Last year we paid out $1500+ dollars in cash!

Well, I've got some more good news. We're going to have a battle of some of the areas top shops and more serious cars. We're having a battle of the fastest cars, with the only rules being they are imports and they meet safety regulations. This is for those shop cars that are too serious for our normal showdown.

We've already got several shops, including Twisted and Battle Ground on board. So definitely come check this out. Also, if you've got a shop car and are interested in putting them against these guys, let me know.

I seriously doubt it. There is already a few EVOs coming out. I've also heard some rumors about a shop EVO coming out to run the Battle for the Import Showdown Crown. Seems the EVO is going to take on the shop Supras and DSM. Lets hope so, it should be interesting.
