Gotta get my 9 tuned

names Warner, im in augusta ga,
really want/need to get my IX tuned, its stock turbo, injen intake and UICP
and then ETS LICP and catless stock exhaust piping.
already have walbro 255 and a few other little things that dont really factor in.
ive seen dudes with less make 360whp and 380wtq off tune alone. i just want to shoot for 350/350
where should i go around here to get it done, what should i be expecting to pay and so on, any info is info lol.. ive never gotten a tune before so id rather ask then go in there like a **** tard
i think TopSpeed tuning is moving its way out of the running, have had buddies and heard of a lot of people with bad experiences
im leaning towards BattleGround motorsports

Considering this is more the general section, I would suggest also asking in your regional area:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/southeast-region-43/

You may find a better response from the locals there.

Everything factors in no matter how small the part. Your expectations are way too high. With just piping and a fuel pump you are essentially still in stock territory. I'm not sure where you got those numbers from but that vehicle had to have all supporting bolt ons to make that kind of power. As rjfg said expect around 300 and no more than 315-320.

i mean im straight piped, but if thats seriously all it takes to make that extra 20-50 hp he pulls then i might as well just order the MAP o2 dump and 3"dp one piece and leave it straight piped back off the DP

Did you see how many ppl called bs on that video and their evo owners. There are always ways to manipulate dyno factors to increase numbers

I would take the results in the video with a huge grain of salt. Uncorrected numbers with cold weather. Plus I'd but the fuel and timing maps are very aggressive seeing as it is a dynoflash video.

Whats wrong with uncorrected #'s with cold weather? Thats what the car put down. Who would dyno in cold weather then ask for the corrected #'s just to see them go down. Theres a reason why cars in cooler weather feel faster, isn't it because there making more power ? I will agree on the Dynoflash part though , I'm sure Al running a pretty aggressive timing map.
