two things

1. you ever got door dinged and car keyed??? i just woke up today and went to my car and someone keyed my car. from my side mirror area all the way to the rear panel of my car just passed my rear doors.... pissed as @#$%

got my car door dinged like 5 times, there was a spot that was hit 3 times in the exact same spot. and i curbed my right side skirt avoiding a stupid driver on the phone... ugh.... my car's soo messed now...

2. anyone know what i should do to fix it with the lowest amount of money. i'm poor... was thinking of either buying those touch up paint pens from canadian tire or from Mitsubishi dealers... *sigh*

anyone got suggestions?

 

For the love of god don't attempt the dealer pen paint. U will make it worse.

If u want a cheaper alternative get rubberduckey to look it over. Might be able to buff it out with some good filler.

how bad can it be??? it's just like paint over the stratch mark how can it mess it up???

 

you can always put touch ups, but to make it unnoticable will be nearly impossible. trust me i've tried even with touch-up spray it looks aweful.

if you want a quick fix, you can get it done for ~100. If you want a real fix.. might be too pricy.. i'm very sorry to hear that man. i totally feel you on this one.

Call your insurance company and file a vandalism claim that is why you pay that bill every month, then find a good body shop not what they recommend and get it fixed.

 

Hello yeah I bought meguires scratch x and a buffer and most of my scratches are gone but the scratches must be minor. Another thing I do if it's very bad is just do a repaint which is not the hardest but takes time. Last weekend I just finished repainting my inner door due to rust. Try calling Maple mitsu be sure to have ur TLC sticker.

 

ugh i kinda know who the f#$%kers are but iunno how to find them if ya know what i mean...

can't call the insurance cause i got a committed to a speeding ticket and insurance didn't find out yet so i'm going to keep a low profile so they don't search up my file and realize i got a few tickets and raise my premium if ya know what i mean LOL

honestly i thought they could have done much worse... heck i'll do much worse but yea ... still it's my baby and i'm pretty sure everyone in this forum will understand when i say that it kinda hurts even if this is just a lease...

Touch up paint will show depending on the colour. Was it right down to the metal, or Primer or was it just clear coat?

Have enough rocks chips from when they were re-doing the 401, paint pen for silver = Fail

 

well i have a black car... will black show??? they scratched it when i see silver... like i still see some scratch residue pile up on the line where i can brush off... iunno soo pissed....

i remember there's this one time i'm eating at hero cert burger at major mack and leslie... asian mom with her two kids go to their cars... into a BMW X5... so i thought... no biggie nice car won't be stupid.... kid swings his door wide open and dents my car... mom just closes the door afterwards glances at the car get in and drive away really fast....

my friend asked if they hit my car... go out... dent already.... soo sad... and i park perfectly too... ugh hate this cruel word.....

so does black touch up pen work on black? or will it still show?

 

Well I will see tomorrow, cause I know somebody with a black who had a mis happ and the dealer will be performing the touch up tomorrow... not a full paint job just a touch up

AT HOME MAN!!! well at my gf's place but AT HOME and i was home too from 9 till the next day so i know they came over that day and f*&^ing keyed it .... ugh.... so sad...
