Are blue parking lights illegal in ontario?

Im worried about the "impersonating a police" thing.

I also want blue angel eyes. Maybe I can get away with blueish white.

both red and blue are illegal in the front

 

blue is only allowed on snow removal vehicles or something..

illegal unless you plan to plow some snow with your lancer lol

is it really worth the trouble?

 

i have red and i got pulled over only cuz my headlight was out and they were looking for sumthing to pin me with and u can really see the parking lights when the headlight is out.

$110 ticket but cop told me basically in other words to go to court.

in the book cop showed me that any red or blue at the front of the car is not allowed unless ur snow removal, cop, etc. only amber is allowed.
my argument was that its a parking light on the side and not at the front since the whole headlight wraps around to the side and its technically on the side of the car.

i still have the lights on my car to this day and have not received my court date yet

 

put simply, you are only allowed to have white or amber as colors for your lights on any car

 

What about blue back up lights? are they also illegal?

 

yes.. your backup lights must be white... personally man forget the blue... that stuff was like 10 yrs ago man when F&F first came out.. keep it clean and simple dont waste money on senseless mods.
But at the end of the day its your car so do what you wish.

 

isnt there a loop here , where its ok to have lights that are white , but have a tinti of blue , red isnt allowd period i already made that mistake , but white with a tint of blue is on cuz its not straight blue its more white

 

what about the blinkers? can we have white blinkers?

 

I have blue parking lights and blue underglow and have never been pulled over once. My whole front end lights up blue pretty much so if it was that big of an issue I think of all people, I would've been pulled over by now. (It's been like 8 months with them)

 

Anything and everything could be illegal on your car depending on what mood the cop is in. All i can say is i have had blue parking lights for over 2 years now on my car. I have been pulled over twice and never have they noticed or said anything. If you think about it its all luck of the draw. You could spend 5 years speeding to work and then one random day get pulled over for speeding. All you have to ask yourself is it worth it. My gf has had the blue license plate covers on her car for 5 years now and just the other day she got pulled over downtown for having them on. So i say its all about what mood the cop is in or how far away he is from filling his quota that month lol
