Lanny I really do wish we had good tuners (also reasonably priced tuners) local here, with these "e-tunes" or "calling the tuner in for a weekend" I really don't feel like the tune got the utmost attention to detail...also it *doesnt feel like the customer's been taken care off either...

I am so busy here I can't make a trip there for maybe 4-6 months, if you guys want to come here fine, otherwise someone else will have to come there.

you guys all know Magnus motor sports is a vendor on the other forum...........and you all know that Marco from Magnus has built his company on building and tuning on the DSM/Evo platform?

My new EvoX stroker motor is getting built and tuned by him.

If the guy has the ability to tune Porsches, Lambos, GTR's and AMG Mercs the evo is piddle scratch in terms of tuning difficulty.

They charge way to much for a tune I would rather drive to get Ivey tuned

What do they charge for a tune?

 

Last time I called it was 800 and up

 

well e-spec is still interested in coming down if no1 gets ahold of hbspeed or we can wait 4-6 months for ivey either way itll be summer so it doesnt matter between the two. I wont goto any tuners in this area id rather do the AMS E-tune online before them. Sure they can tune the gtr porchse yadda,. but the mr sst with its tables that no1 seems to know makes me not goto them.

 

Well, should set a time-frame when its going to be done and see who is interested in that time, choose a tuner. Some people will skim off if they dont like the tuner too.. other wise this isn't going to progress anywhere

 

Ok guys pick a few months u are interested in. I'd like it done in April. E spec does sst and will post a vid or two for the skeptical ones out there he does solid word. And actually has gotten back to me within minutes of each pm that says alot to me

 

We own our own dyno as well, but I don't think that applies If I'm making the trip to CANADA.
