Ya man, my stroker build is 3-4 weeks from being completed. Once the engine is assembled it gets stripped again and pistons, head, exhaust mani and turbo get sent out for thermal ceramic coating.

I went with a stroker build and the OEM manifold because I didn't want to steam out the turbo at the top end of the RPM range and didn't want to loose the spool at the bottom end. I know this will limit my HP levels but I'm building a motor to last me a life time.

All I know is this motor will have more TQ then I know what to do with

Keep sticking with ECUTek, it will save your engine in the long run. It saved mine from blowing up.

What is the advantages of using Tephra mods? I mean switching maps can be done with the Accessport, so why did u change out Newb? y use a cruise control button rather than having an AP?

KnockCEL is a feature I really like about Tephramods. With the AP you'd need to have it as a gauge on "Knock" the whole time which I really hope is 0 99% of the time with the random phantom knock and what not. If you see the past work with TephraMODs for the older Evos there are more features that are probably in development at the moment with the X so eventually will come out too.

Nice! Ya man maybe we can all finally meet.

Just create a new user account under a different name and email and use the mobile phone to create it, sice mobile phones roll their IP over frequetly.

No harm in viewing thread as a guest :-)
