2011 EVO X GSR Dyno Results

Thought I would post these for anyone who is interested. Just had a baseline run on a Dyno Tune at Magnus this evening. My car is completely stock.

wow the stock tune is impressive. stage 1 cobb map wouldnt do much for you as it would put you on par with every other cobb stage 1 car out there but as a stock tune thats pretty impressive

I agree, I was very surprised at the stock tune for the 2011, Marco at Magnus did say for a stock tune it was pretty impressive. The Fuel/Air could be flattened a bit, but the boost is good through most of the range. I wonder how much more Cobb can get out of the stock tune. Marco indicated that he could get more out of it with a full tune, but I think a new intake, UICP and high flow down pipe might be in order before a re tune is done.

skip the high flow get a UR test pipe and call it a day. With the law changing or changed you wont have to do an emissions for 7 years

Well 2011 evos have a much better stock tune and can run 13.1-13.2 1/4 miles. So that explains the high numbers

No tune, straight Dyno run for a base line measurement for future mods, this is a stock run.

$170

Yeah... I've been hearing about the improvements to the stock EVO's. Road and Track apparently got a 2011 GSR to do 0-60mph in 4.3 seconds!!!

People are also saying they changed the way they limit torque in first gear. Apparently 2008-2010 they limited throttle input... but in 2011 they limit boost.
