Current State of TLC Dealership Discounts?
Current State of TLC Dealership Discounts?
Could somebody please confirm what the current TLC discounts are for the various dealerships in the GTA? I got a service job done today expecting a certain discounts... but initially one was not applied.
So... what dealer offers what for being a "Lancer Club" member?

I know Scarb Mitsu was included in the gold alliance thingy (i forgot what it's called)..
but last time I went for a Type A service, I was told that the discount isn't valid anymore because of the change of their service manager..

Scarborough Pending Renewal
Dixie Pending Renewal
Erin Mills * TLC no longer affiliates with this dealership. GM
Renewals of Dixie and Scarborough can be immediate, or it can drag on. It really depends.
In Scarborough's case. All three dealerships in that ownership block (Scarborough, Midtown, Pickering) has a blood letting in management, sales, and swaps /changes in Service managers. within the last 5 months. Sadly, this is no different from all the dealerships in the GTA. The turnover rate in Mitsubishi Dealerships of staff is terrible. Its very very hard to find anyone that stays in one spot for more than a year. This is one of the most upsetting things for me as I have attempted to stabilize this alliance and grow. I simply can not keep up with the top end administrative changes. And to be honest, I am kinda tired of it. For now I am more focused on the dealerships that want to participate in my vision of what Mitsubishi Service should be.
Dixie, is No different, but just less volatile. Dixie is under the same ownership as Markham. Unfortunately, I have never been able to see eye to eye with Markham in our talks. Dixie was fine, until they had a change in GM, then a Change in Service. And I think they are still making changes.
So far Brampton, and Maple are on the ball and for me thats enough. They are the only ones that are granting us..... Mitsubishi owners, a Bill of Rights so to speak
The agreement will put teeth into procedure and have a resolution system that will treat customers with a bit more respect.
I will keep everyone up to date.

On behalf of the community, thanks once again for your time and effort on this Evo_Soul.
It's a bit of a drive for me to drive out from the south end of the city to Maple, but on the one occasion I did deal with them, their service was very professional. I will certainly focus my dealer service on that location in the future.

With Brampton, What I like to see from any dealership, is the effort to improve and embrace Mitsubishi owners. Vs. What has been the same old story. Everyone wants to feel valued. After speaking with the GM, I sense that energy.
I normally go to Scarb Mitsu, but since the discount is gone and I'm in Brampton every week, can I just get my services done there? do I need to do something, like pull my records from Scarb Mitsu just so they'll take me in Brampton and apply the discount?!?

Scaroborough was easy back in the day, but as I learned, things change very often in the Mitsubishi Dealership world. sigh...
