No I doubt your insurance will go up, especially you have witnesses. For me that's good enough.

Ask your insurance, if they offer "first fault accident" The first time you get into an accident and its your fault, (knock on wood) they automatically waive it so that your premium wont go up etc..

Yup...my insurance got one of those but i dont intend to use it in the next 6 years.
