Local place for SST fluid?
The service manual indicates 7.5L total fluid if you replace everything (filter, cooler), which is what I put back in.
SO UPDATE: Discovered that there was in fact some corrosion caused by salt on the cooler spot itself. It was exactly underneath where the hose was blistered from the salt. Not sure how I didn't notice this before (probably because I do all my work at night). Anyway, upon cleaning and closely inspecting, I found some bubbles coming out of a very very tiny pinhole in the pipe. Not good, kinda means a new cooler. But until then...it has been JB welded and sealed. I left it for 36hrs to cure, hopefully that has been long enough in this cold to resist the very minor pressure. That stuff is usually pretty awesome, and lots of people have used it for similar repairs.
So, I guess this is also a PSA for anyone with an SST and the winter: salt gets in around the hoses and will eat away at the metal. Inspect it whenever you are in there to ensure you dont damage your SST by leaking fluid.

This is also why every year during winter prep, I use a full can of Rust check rust inhibitor in and around the entire lower engine bay during oil change (when the skid plate is off).
Also rust proof every other year for you winter drivers out there. I've spent tuning DSM's since I was 16 and I know what salt does to mitsu metal unfortunatly
