We need to set in stone where this meet will be. We dont have to rule out Houston just because of one shops prices. I wil send a e-mail out to turbochargers.com (they have a dynojet and hopefully their prices will be a little better). $140 per person is a little steep and I think we can find anonther place much cheaper.

We really need to decide where this event is going to be so we can get a head count. Im in for dalls or houston.

Here is the latest update I have. Turbochargers.com apparently sold thier dyno but I got ahold of the current owner (dyno is still located in Houston). He said he may even have 3 EVOs that he could add to the list and he is cool with Feb 18th.

My roomate actually called for me since I am overseas and unable to call. He told him 1000 for the entire day. When I e-mailed him I asked if we had 10 people could he do it at 90 per car and if we get 15 people I asked for 65 per person. Im waiting for a responce from him on this but I just wanted to post up some info to keep everyone informed.

I still have some part decisions to make, so I'm stepping out for this round. For comparison purposes, I spoke with Alamo in Arlington yesterday and they charge $60 per person for their dynojet and would welcome Mark's return, since he was just there a couple of months ago tuning Evos.
It is not going to take one hour per car. Last tuning session I set-up with Mark in San Antonio we were averaging about 30-40 min per car. It would take a little longer if he was tuning standalone systems. You should be able to fit in closer to 14-15 cars in 10 hours. Which would drop the per person rate to around $100. You should really explain to the shop the amount of exposer it will recieve from the local EVO community. I think we ended up doing close to 16 cars that day in San Antonio. I am sure Mark remembers the last car that filled the intake track up with methonal.

I can,, does alamo work late any nights ? .. If we can get the guys from dallas taken car of those january dates, i can come back in feb for houston.. Its not a big deal guys. I know i have to tune josh's car .. and he wont have his car running till feb... Or if we get enough people in FEB in both cities .. it would prob make more sense if i made the drive and not 10 people.. Let me know i dont care either way.

Have a good christmas

not sure how late alamo usually stays, but i have seen them there pretty late working on cars the few times i have been there. i would imagine if we scheduled something they could get us in.

i am a little unsure if i want to get the car tuned so early in jan as i want to get a few more things and get it all tuned at once. i suppose i could get in all in and installed before the 9-11th but it will be pushing it (unless you think LICP, UICP and O2 housing will make no difference at all. in which case lets schedule a jan time with alamo). what are the dates we are looking at for the houstin tunes? i have no problems driving down there as a friend near houstin wants to check it out if i head down there.

i will ask alamo if they do later dyno runs on weekdays.
