The power that it made the the GT35 is extremely impressive IMO though...

 

Any chance you could overlay a Evo 8 graph with a similuar set-up. I would like to see how the curves compare and how much the new MIVEC head helps.

I meant the power that the cam gave over the stock orientation.

 

Actually 470WHP with the limited amount of mods this IX has is still quite an achievement, even if done on race gas.

As far as modifications I believe this IX is running-

Boost Controller
750cc Fuel Injectors
280 Exhaust Cam
GT35R Turbo Kit
Flash

That is pretty impressive, especially since the GT35R Turbo really wakes up at boost levels of 28PSI an up. At those levels, I could see this IX making well over 500WHP as is. Now add in a Intake Cam, Race FMIC and piping, and some more tuning. We could possibly see some really astounding numbers.

 

If i didnt owe on my 05 so much since its new , i would trade in a heartbeat

 

I was wondering if there is any complications in running just an exhaust cam in the IX?
Anything that could damage the engine? Also how is the idle with 280s on the exhaust side?

BTW I left my umbrella on the floor by your tv in your showroom the day I got my mods done.... by any chance do you still have it or did someone take it already?

 

I will be installing a hks 280 exhaust cam next week. I will then take it to the dyno and will post both graphs, without the 280 and w/ 280. I already have TBE, MBC, Intake, walbro and ttrix flash....will keep u posted
