Turbotrix stg 3 evo 9 WOW!

Got the stage 3 upgrade from turbotrix today. 2006 Evo 9 MR. They are magicians there. They pulled the greatest trick. They made a evo 9 feel like a toyota prius. I thought yesterday this thing was quick. Now i would have to go with the term "looney". Here are some recents pics i took today and a dyno sheet and dyno video.

It pulled 342 whp and 330 ftlbs. The best was the peak torque was at 4000k. This thing is a complete beast. They got me all hyped up and this thing still far exceeded my expectations. Thanks to Mark and Mike. Their service was top notch and had no problem with me looking around the shop and watching dyno pulls on a few cars. Here are the list of mods.

Turbo xs downpipe
Turbo xs exhaust
Turbotrix intake
Turbotrix upper ic pipe
Walboro 255 fuel pump
Turbotrix ecu flash

I believe its running 24psi.

Wow 24 on pump is nuts. Good #s non the less, take it to the track and see how ya do.

Hey you might want to rephrase the part where you say they made a Evo9 feel like a Prius. I understood what you meant after i read it over like 3 times. It sounds like you are saying your car came out slower after they were done with it.

I was right on the money with the numbers I gave you right Adam.. Now just get a cat delete and a extension for your 02 sensor and you'll pick up another 10 HP atleast. No need for a retune with that. PM me if you need this stuff. When we gunna have that meet at Your LBI beach house?

Are you running 24psi on 93 oct? What were your A/F? That sounds a little dangerous to me if you are filling up at the pump.

You made 40hp/20tq more than I did with similar mods on my 05 MR, I don't have the UPIC, but I was running 21 psi. I used a dynojet like you.

This is on a IX these numbers are pretty baseline on IX's with these mods. The Mivec and the larger turbo is where these cars have a power advantage over the VIII's

OK, at the risk of getting flamed what are the diff in the turbos between the 8 MR and the 9? Both have the 10.5cm hotside what else?

As for Mivec, I have a set of HKS cams waiting to be installed...

As for 24psi on pump with no alky.....glad its working for you

bigger compressor on the 9.

HKS cams, although will make power, are not a replacement for MIVEC.

I've been running 24 psi with no alky for the last 50k miles. Never had any issues.

Keith

i love the car now and i think the tune is great. Driving around town is docile with WAY better throttle respone and driveablitiy. When you get on it, GOODBYE
Great job guys.

BTW dont worry. I will work with tubrotrix and see what i can push on the stock turbo. That way people will know the limits on the 9. It should bring tuning on them a little further.

I wasn't trying to imply they were a replacement, just what I was going to do with my 8 to make up some of the mivec power I don't get

Wow, I never would have thought that was possible on 93 pump. What size injectors?
