Major quality reform - We would actually use the authentic Mitsubishi 3-D grain and texture on the kit to perfectly compliment your dashboard; even more of a match than our current 2-D grain - Color would be a consistent throughout with no variation from bezel to bezel or to the OEM dashboard - The fit would be flawless as new manufacturing processes would allow us to utilize ABS injection-molded plastic just as Mitsubishi does on their own parts - We may also be able to utilize UV protectants during production to further protect the plastic for the end-user
NOTE: If you decide to purchase the JDM 2-din bezel as shown from Japanparts.com, u must specify that u want it to have the clips to replace your existing panel. otherwise they might send you the panel with double-sided tape b/c its just an accent panel,. i made that mistake and lost over $150 when i had to re-sell mine to someone in the UK b/c Japanparts.com refused to take mine back.

we designed our kit with our own proprietary 2-DIN to make it more cost effective and functional for you guys. the mitsubishi 2-DIN piece is twice the price of ours and doesn't feature any kind of glare protection for the screen.
if you want to spend 2x the price on your setup, that's fine. special order the orbital HVAC bezel from us for $195, then visit japanparts.com and spend $250+ on the mitsubishi 2-DIN bezel as well as an additional $150+ for an overlay.
