I cut some of the supports out with a dremel and filed out the hole for the buttons some, and that worked out, but that cable, oh god what a nightmare!

I just set an appointment to get the pieces finished silver like the stock shifter console, and saw this thread. You should make one in the gunmetal color of the mr shifter console. Good luck cant wait to see some pics.

Rich are the fitment issues gonna be fixed with the v2? I would definately be interested if that is the case. Also I am not able to vote on the subject. Dont know exactly why.

The fitment issues will be fixed entirely with V2.

EDIT: And thank you, Rich, for the continued acknowledgment and support. It means a lot

i'm busting my back trying to manage the existing kits and our manufacturers delays as well as correcting their production issues. meanwhile, i'm working on those major wholesale accounts which would make this happen fast.

make some noise with the evoM vendor community. other than dan at Mach V, and of course phil from 201 motorsports, no one has even expressed any interest in supporting us on this.
Is the discount thing for return customers up and running? Or will something come about in the end when/if they ship?

Also, I ask this out of curiosity and with respect, I am not harassing/knocking your business accumen/tenacity!!! Have you (as in personally) contacted vendors like Lancershop, Gruppe-S, Z-1, Works, etc. and presented pricing, availabilty, stocking program, whatever, or are you just relying on the community to reverberate it's interest back to vendors?

I'm having issues setting up the rewards discount for existing customers. I am leaning towards sending a one-time use gift certificate via email/post to each individual customer.

To answer your question, yes. We had Alexander from PixelSystem come onboard and put together a full promotion-scale press packet with color brochures, studio photography, and a new brand identity/logo. The hard-copy press packets were physically mailed out with formal letters as well as pricing pricing information to most, if not all, vendors on the EVOm network and beyond. Electronic versions were attached to emails as follow-ups on the hard copies. The only companies to come on-board were 201 Motorsports and Buschur Racing (which has since dropped off, likely as a result of our backorder issues). I'm not even going to get into what vendors pulled my chain about supporting us with inventory-scale orders or even listing our product on their site altogether.

I now have a good sense of where your frustration comes from...

When you get the return customer thing worked out, I will be in line!!! I wish you all the best with all you've put in to this

I am a current owner of the black grain kit. I am very interested in upgrading to the V2 kit and I intend to fill the order form on the site once the current customer discount issue is sorted out.

I have had only good dealings with Rich. I knew there would be a delay and it took a while (> 1 month) to get my kit and that was fine because I was simply patient. I didn't need updates from Rich every week so I guess that makes me easily satisfied...

I have a small issue with fitment on the hvac portion but I simply called Rich and he was very professional about getting me a replacement when he gets more kits made.

So based on my experience I can only vouch for his professional level of service.

So thanks to Rich, and I look forward to seeing the new product

I'll be waiting. I do have a question that I think was already asked but not sure if completely answered. Do existing customers have to return their old kits? If so then why? Is it just proof that we have them or are you going to resell them as a used product?

We haven't addressed this question directly because we really don't have an answer.

More likely than not (don't quote me on it just yet), you'll be able to keep your old kit.

We need to determine the exact "Orbital Rewards" discount level for your loyalty. It has nothing to do with re-selling a used product, as we'd likely dispose of them if we were to require an exchange.

Sorry maybe I didn't read through all 9 pages, but if we were to buy pre-order tickets how long would it realistically take to receive the kits from now if they are ever to be produce?
