yea i would like to know to, ordered a kit, and rich never sends e-mails back or replys back at all to my messages at all. Still waiting on a tracking # or find out if they even had any of the products in stock at all. Also look at this we all write stuff about his product, and this guy cant even come on to the site and write anything back to us at all. If this is how hes gonna treat his customers and not respond to them or give me any info or a time frame on how long i'm gonna have to wait then i want my money back so i wont have to deal with this from him.

Hmm...
Wait about two weeks.
On a more serious note, maybe you haven't read the rest of the thread. The lack of customer support is and has been noted/note worthy however, the service is in direct reflection to the package... sad part about it, you don't get want you want either way 90% of the time even if you've paid 300 bones. The complaint is a little old however. Would be nice if someone complained about how Rich called someone an impatient fart, then that would be debated on whether or not he was just being honest. You gotta look at it both ways man, this is a no 100% win situation as long as people bail on support of the product, hate to say the truth. On the same token, the complaints if seen in the eyes of a GOOD vendor, would see this as another example of demand. Because essentially, even if you've voted AGAINST not buying the product again etc, such as your case, you are effectivly saying if the product and services would have been better and more people supported it from the begining, you would have been 100% saticified. Which is exactly the thing Orbital is working on. So please vote for the product so the vendors don't get confused.

Just wondering if you guys would consider selling just the lower part to mount the HVAC controls down lower? I'm looking to mount gauges in the upper section, so the 2-din part doesn't really help me out.

Thanks,

Dave

Well i do know how it is owning a Business My brother and I own our own Business, and if customers call us and need to know something or to see if we have the product in stock they can call leave a message or an E-mail we will get back to then the next day or later that day, I would love to have the Orbital 2 Din in my EVO , but with the way im not getting any replies back from him at all is annoying me, and shows he has no good customer service what so ever. Also if i knew about the Orbital 2 din earlier when it first came out i would of jumped on the band wagon then, but i didn't. I can't really support anything right now that i don't know what it looks like besides pictures, also I order something and try to contact the owner rich and no replys back just kinda doesn't want me to get one because customer service just sucks, shows he doesn't care about the customer, and just cares about getting his $300 more then replying back to the customers thats trying to support his product.

I bought this for my Evo VIII and it was the best interior mod ever.
Now I have an Evo IX and I hope to buy your new and improved version for it.

I hope you can afford to keep building it.

i'm sorry, but please show me when or where i called someone an "impatient fart" or anything of the sort.

to the critics:

i've been as professional as humanly possible about this product despite the fact. i'm sick and tired of having to explain myself for the imperfections in this product. i've done it over and over again, but when i read post like yours and the gentleman who followed, it makes me wonder whether you people actually read yourselves.

this product was intended to resolve the problem that everyone was complaining about but nobody was listening to. i started this business as an enthusiast like yourselves; with an idea for a good product and a willingness to commit to its development...investing a sizable amount of my own money and having taken considerable loans to finance the process. i haven't made a dime off this idea and i'm beyond sick of having to explain that to you all.

as for answering your calls or responding to your emails; for the love of all that's holy, i'm one person. i am a law student trying to manage an honest business with a respectable product. i have no money and no support from wholesalers to invest into the sales support, massive production runs, or huge inventories you are asking me to commit myself to alone. i've done my part, i've brought this godforsaken product to the market at my own expense for all of YOU. give me a break and get off my back. if you have such a problem about this, why don't you complain to all the vendors who backed out of supporting me when i brought this product to the market.

as for the $300 price - i'll tell you what, when you go through the process of financing a product with the magnitude of costs and expenses that this product has as well as limited market to sell to, you can determine your own pricing to cover your expenses and perhaps profit for your efforts. until then, get off my back.

i'm desperately trying to revive this idea, because it is a good one and there is a market for it. i originally wrote this thread with the intent of filling everyone in on my efforts and gauging the reaction of the community before opening the idea up for commerce. i am doing this for all of us - to recover my investment and perhaps finance future products, and to give you all the product you wanted, in available supply, and the highest quality. if you can't even give me an ounce of respect for that, then don't even bother posting and get off my thread.

to my current and prospective customers:

for everyone who has commented with support, i appreciate it. please keep it coming. i'll speak with Ali about the poll issue; i don't know why the poll ended. i'm in florida for a few days to see my newborn nephew and spend time with my fiance before classes resume and our product inventories come back into stock. i apologize for not getting back to your emails, but i will be back in the office by monday. thanks for the patience.

well said rich... i personally was one of the haters back in the day.. 300 bucks for some plastic screw that,... but as i saw them in person i realized how nice and factory looking they were... i now have a kit in my IX and love it def... i love it more than almost all my other mods.... anybody who says its not worth it... shouldnt have paid 35k for a car and complain about a 300 dollar upgrade in the interior.

I would love one of these. A 35K car should have a better interior, and this upgrade sounds like a good start to getting it. Keep us posted...

For some reason I cannot vote, but I would love to have one of these pieces. Especially if it was the improved version. I tried to get the original version, but no one had them.

I would definitely put a downpayment on the new one.

Do it. Do it.

The poll issue is being worked on as far as I know. This needs as much support/commitment as possible... it can definitely become a reality
