There's unfortunately no way to answer that because it will depend on the support of the customers... the more people that pre-order the kit, the faster it can realistically begin to be produced.

This is definatly something I want to do! I am actually ordering the pre-order on Thursday at the latest. It will more than likely happen on wednesday. I cant wait to get this. Great Job with the product!!!

hey rich i put in my order a long time ago and still waiting but my question for you is can i just wait longer and get the new one instead. if i waited this long i think i cant wait longer for the better version

i'd be fine with that, but the thing is that we're not going to be definite on the new design until we have enough support to move forward with the manufacturing process.

keep your fingers crossed guys...i've been harrassing everyone from best-buy and circuit city to alpine and pioneer for support of this product.

im down for paying a bit for the upgrade. hopefully it wont be anywhere near the $300 i paid for the original. haha
just hope it looks either more OEM or nice looking. its a bit too dull and bland.
luckily i have a cool screen that hides the boringness. hahaha

I couldn't have said it better!!! I totally agree with you on the finish looking dull and bland, but it's a good thing we can add some sexyness to the interior though....
