David, the install went great. It was very straight forward. Much easier to get to most of the bolts on the turbo than my old kit. Also, getting to the bolts that bolt the manifold to the head was much easier . But yeah everything went right in, didn't even have to run to the store for any bolts!!! Now all I have to do is change my intake manifold and I'll be up there to get tuned again

Jrod, Hell yeah I was excited. Never been so glad to see a UPS man in my life!! (not in a gay way) lol

No it will not work with the V-band housing. You will need the normal PTE4 bolt housing to work with this kit. The PTE V-band housing is too deep and will not clear the block.

emilebazin, PTE doesn't offer a Vband outlet turbine housing for the 6262 yet, when they do I do not think it will work. The 6262 will work on this kit but it will have to use PTE's 4 bolt turbing housing.

so what kind of gain does this have over the normal setups? I'm assuming faster spool, but how much?

This kit doesn't require much to be installed. As far as modifications to make the kit fit. The only thing that needs to be done is the a/c needs to be taken off.

If we get the interest then CBRD will make a half width condensor for the a/c and then it can be retained.

The radiators that we use are modified Fluidyne's that we put together here at our shop. They are available with normal hose outlets so you stock radiator hoses can hook up to them or we can build them with AN fittings to run all AN lines.

Thanks for the questions and interest, it really is a bad *** kit.
If you could make that an extra option the sale of this kit would definitely increase. Hell I would be in line waiting to purchase mine. Buschur ftmfw

Yes the change to the custom turbine housing increased the low and mid range the most but also showed gains in the top end.

The a/c condensor is a matter of someone ordering a kit. I am not investing time/money in an a/c condensor for the kit unless someone steps up to buy one. Once the order is placed I will work with Chad at CBRD to produce the condensor.

Thank you for the interest.

The largest gain ot the kit is getting air directly into the turbo from the front of the car.

I am working on an estimate with CBRD on the half sized condensors for the cars.

CBRD, how about we bolt one of those Dominator on this turbo kit, would that speed you up?

So what all are we talking about has to be done first before this kit is usable? I mean, what upgrades does your car already have to have before this kit can be installed? For example I read here that the stock FMIC won't work, but what else?? Thanks! BTW this kit looks really, really bad ***!

Update. My car with the HTA86 at 40 psi, dynoing in only 3rd gear just put down 710 whp on our dyno this week using this kit. Extremely impressive.
