No flex needed in the downpipe, none in any of our downpipes.

Seems to be a new interest in forward facing turbo kits so I am giving this thread a TTT!

This is still the best set up I have found to date and I am still running it on my car.

Note that it does use and come with a filter kit. We now have a filter that has a funnel type inlet on the top where the filter fits in the grill. It also includes the carbon fiber block off for the EVO8 grill so it can be driven in the rail/foul weather.

Also note that we had custom built T3 vband turbine housings built that allows them to fit in extremely tight spots, such as a FF turbo kit needs. Those are available seperately from the kits too.

No, never made a block off plate for the EVO9. There is no grill seperation on the EVO9 and I never made a pattern to do it. It is possible to do though if someone ordered a kit and needed it.

Maybe someone else will copy them like the mirror delete plates I built after I do them.

I am very interested in this ff parts kit, just have a few questions. I read that the pte vband housing willnot work with this kit. Is this still accurate. I'd Luke to pair this with a 6262 vband housing. Do you guys still need to modify it to work? Do you know the spool up differences between the 6262 and hta86 with this kit on a 2.3? Also, are you able to make the carbon block off for a 9 still? I seen this kit in sept when I picked my car up and it is a work of art. But I'd like to know more with the vband

The PTE housing will not work. If you are going with this kit and looking for the type of power it can produce, you want the HTA86 anyway!

I have a plate, I think for the EVO9, pretty sure we built one for VWJeff. I may be out of flat carbon plate though.....

David, I'm still thinking about getting this kit. I would want the v band option instead of the 4 bolt. I know I would need one of your custom turbine housings. What turbos is this compatible housing available on? I'm looking into the hta86, 3794 and 6765. This would be going on a 2.3 that you guys built for me in September, when my car was there for my build. Which of these turbos would you recommend for a 2.3 with 4.11 final?

What is your pricing for the hta86 with the custom v band housing David? Also I have Cosworth m2 cams right now with your stage 3 head. With going from an fp black to the hta86 what cams would you recommend. Should I swap the m2 out for something else for more power? Btw I'm looking for 700 whp on a mustang dyno. This goal would be for my e85 tune. As for intake manifolds, I'm using the stock that was ported by you guys. Should I stick with that for my hp goal or slap a other one on? I take it that you do not have a custom 3794 v band housing that will work with your ff setup. Is this correct? Thanks for your help.

Yes, the 3794 would fit and we have a Vband housing, why you'd want to use a turbo that laggy is beyond me.

Try the intake you have first and see how much it makes, if you need more upgrade to our fabricated.

For pricing on the turbo and such give Nick or Jarrod a call.

The M2's are fine.
