O0o0 count me in on this.
No I don't have any but I might be able to post some up latest bye sat....
I was very impressed that his tune and boost was holding very well for load based boost and the lack of mods he has. I knew that ecu controlled boost was for me. I will be doing direct boost using an Omni 4 bar switch. I will also incorparate Tephra V7 patch along with a map switch and do a race gas tune.
I know this is also off topid but MAP did a great job on my buddy Marco's o2 dump. A little tuff to get it in the car but picked up 30hp

How much shipped to 23434!
What else do I need for tuning?
I have:
-laptop
-innovative 02 wideband thing
-ecuflash
-tactrix cable
I only have the oem boost/oil temp/voltmeter gauges. People said these were inaccurate.
What other gauges would you recommend? (preferrably blue lighting)
I know I'll need a Boost and Oil pressure. I plan to have up to 6 gauges total.
3 - center console, 2 - steering column, maybe use the gauge cluster with the empty hole with EVOLUTION writing in it (prefer not to though lol).

FYI I did change my plugs before..
I think the 1st pass made 300whp with cutout closed, around 350 with it open, 1 degree timing adjustment 370+... then the rest of the numbers and my stock clutch not wanting to have any party in 390whp... 42k miles stock clutch
As for the Grimmspeed EBS.. great mod to have.. It works as advertised and definitely notice faster spool on my butt dyno

So a buddy of mine wanted a new tune on his Evo 9 and he has been out of the game for a while. He wanted a boost controller but didn't want a MBC or EBC. So I told him about running a 3 port BCS with ecu Flash. Well I told him about the GrimmSpeed BCS he ordered it as we spoke and called me and asked if I could ask my tuner if he could get installed and tuned we made some time for him on Sat and all went well.
First to start he had a Evo9 mods: Stock engine, stock cams, Stock turbo, 3" o2 housing, tubular header, 3" DP with QTP cutout, HKS RS Intake, Fuel pump, stock BCS, AMS IC, AMS LICP & UICP. We put the car on the dyno cutout closed the car made 320whp I asked the customer when was the last time you changed the plugs....never! We swapped the plugs did another baseline pull this time with the cutout open car made 335. Both of these runs done at 20psi tapering to 16psi on the stock solenoid and stock pill. The tuner cleaned up the un-named tune pulled 1 degree of timing and made 345. We took a break and let the car cool off. Put the BCS on adjusted the boost to 24psi and taper which was much less 22psi by redline. Not too bad for a car with no cams and all stock port work. So the best pull after boost was dialed in was 391 but the clutch slipped real bad on the dyno so they backed down the tq and hp to 374. The customer left pleased and happy. Thanks Chris and Grimmspeed for making such a great product. I hope to purchase my BCS at the close of this week.

I'm going to try and get my GrimmSpeed installed and tuned this weekend and see what kind of boost we are working with here.....thanks again for selling a great product to the evo community. I know the boss man is really happy to get a few of them in the shop.
