Matt Homes from Grimmspeed has just told me the grimmspeed 3 port boost solenoid 8/9 will not fit my evo 7, is this true? What a shame, was interested in purchasing one.

It would not. The mounting bracket that comes with the kit does not fit anything other than the Evo 8/9.
