I recommend these for all pull-type clutches for the Evo. I personally run one (not STM) with my Competition Stage 3.

While I have not experienced any issues with anything other then the exedy, It cant hurt to have it with every pull type clutch.

I wonder if you would see any advantages of this on a daily driven evo? You are only going to benefit from this on hard shifts I assume?

I have an exedy twin, and have never had any issues.

It might be worth it to install this part. If your clip does pop you will wish you did.

I agree, its cheap insurance. I had my TOB pop out from the clip when I was over 1,000 miles from home during a 1-2 shift leaving a parking lot.
