Anyone had idle issues with this turbo? I'm not blaming the turbo its probably because it's SO good.
We think on idle the speed of the turbo is screwing with the maf. It's idleing really rich and we can't lean it out no matter what. Changed every sensor for new.
Any tips greatly received before I have to buy aftermarket ecu.

Its gotta be something else besides the turbo. Vacuum leak, fuelling, something. Was anything else changed at the time of the turbo swap?

Engine rebuilt Fred but only change in spec per se is the turbo.
I even tried adjusting latency to try and starve petrol and lean it out ( correct way? )
No matter just sits at 10 afr. We proved reading with other and checked plugs black as

That means everything came off the motor and went back on. Although its all the same parts, things can be different. Sitting at 10 AFR seems awful odd. Have you checked fuel pressure at the rail?

Yes I have an adjustable with gauge was set as previous same pump rail injectors. We had a play with various pressures and even fitted stock reg. All gave same result.

Car always started bright as a button. We changed the lambda sensor for new item, checked cam sensor trigger correct install, new crank sensor tried 3 or 4 mafs
Smoke boost leak tested it.
Really lost but have since read a few stories of bb turbos on stock maf doing weird things so thought I'd ask

The only odd interaction between turbo and MAF that comes to mind is some sort of frequency being emitted by the turbo that's affecting the MAF sensor. The notion would be that it would cause a falsely high MAF Hz and load reading. Are you seeing that, or are MAF Hz and load readings normal for idle?

I'll grab a log and check an old log and compare Hz. Thanks Fred.
Load was as before
