CBRD we've got *****...

Ball Bearings that is--- for the BBK (Billet Blue Kompressor) line of turbochargers...

The time has finally come for our official release of the Ball Bearing MHI turbochargers produced by CBRD and Blouch Turbo-

It has taken us almost 1.5 years to get the formula right for release--- and it was a strong learning curve- but they are here.

The main options are the following:

CBRD Full (upgraded 47-48 lbs min compressor and 11 blade turbine, same as current full but with BB upgrade)

CBRD B (upgraded 56-57 lbs min compressor and 11 blade turbine)

CBRD C (upgraded 60-61 lbs min compressor and larger 11 blade turbine)

Options are-

CBRD 3.5" Anti-surge Cover $165.00

CBRD High Pressure Actuator $125.00

and Porting of the hotside $90.00 (normally $100.00)

Pricing is as follows:

$2485.00 for either the full, B, or C

then add in the options from above-

Obviously if you do the math with options these turbo's are by no means inexpensive- as we've had a MHI price hike of apprx $300.00 (even if we buy 100 units) and we are having to use a Garett CHRA ball bearing assembly then retrofitted into th MHI IX turbo- which takes a LOT of time to machine and fit-

We see the most popular choice being the "B" with standard cover- as we've tested it with great success- spooling like the Original BBK Full Journal Bearing (which is impressive) yet making 20-35 more whp at similar boost pressures-

The big question we have gotten is "how much to convert my BBK full to a Ball bearing" or "how much to convert my bbk full to a BBK-C ball bearing" and so forth---

That pricing wont be the same for everyone- as the condition of the turbos may vary- and many IX turbo's are coming in with high mileage and cracked turbine housings---

So for those quotes please PM me or email me personally...

Here are some more pictures

You can clearly see the quality of the casting on the compressor cover's and the detail of the machine work... the result of many long hours by the gentlemen at Blouch Turbo-

I will post some more information up shortly-

We have begun to ship some of the B's and will be able accomodate Antisurge optioned turbos shortly-

I hope you all enjoy-

Cheers

Congrats Chad and I'm sure this we be a great option for stock frame turbos. I cant think of one customer who didnt like the JB turbos whether it be a CBRD RAD, BBK full, etc. that we've sold in the past. Nice job Chad.
