2013 Nissan GT-R Full bolt ons with 93oct results inside

I figured Id share the GTR stuff in here since maybe some evo guys are interested in the platform and the post can benefit me by getting known I can do this platform as well.

We are going to start tuning Evo X more now as well.

We picked up this customers GTR from CT, and brought it back to our shop.
We performed extensive modification/labor on the vehicle. We dropped the engine, installed downpipes, full exhaust, injectors, intake pipes, tuned it with EcuTek Phase 5, Ported the turbo inlets and intake manifold & plenum.

I made a short video of the cars performance after the tune, and I also have vd results for now below to share.

The cars on straight 93oct and boost was roughly 17-18psi around there.

Mods are:

TSComp/McCarty Spec ported turbo inlets
TSComp/McCarty Spec ported intake manifold & plenum
ID1000cc injectors
VRSF 3.5" downpipes
VRSF 3" intake pipes
Amuse Titanium 3" exhaust /w hks non resonated midpipe
EcuTek Phase 5 tuned by TSComptuned

The above mods extracted the following power:

We also gave the vehicle a full detail/polish/clay/seal/wax job. We offer all this service for our Evo customers as well.

Video of the car on youtube:

And Full details of build here with pics: acebook.com/tscomptuned/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1199965196699660

If anyone has a GTR and doesn't live near me and is interested in me tuning it, I can do that. Just PM me. I have the ability to remote tune Ecutek.
Customer satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.

Yeah, considering Cobb is the other real option for GTRs it seems like if you have more than just a couple standard bolt-ons then Ecutek is the right option for them. Of course this could just be another "Robevo RS derails all threas" move.

Post says 17-18psi, dyno graph says 30. 30psi doesn't seem realistic for stock turbo GTR...lol

You quoted a post Bryan said from ages ago and I agree with him. For the older evo platforms that are open source ecuflash is KING.

GT-R are not open source and probably never will be for a very long time to come because the developers are being paid extremely good money to keep it closed source.

The same developers that did the evo are doing gtr, except they are being paid a lot of $ to keep it not open source.

Cobb has nothing on Ecutek. We dig into the raw features of Ecutek, Ecutek is as close to open source as you can get once inside. Not only is it like comparing tephra v5 to v7, but Ecutek has features available only Syvecs can offer.

Sure Cobb is still good, but Ecutek is far superior, thats why im using it. The map resolution is way bigger, a DBA GTR you actually have the ability to SEE the ignition timing and not guess what you're doing in the map.

DBA GTR's 2012 on up, are dynamic advance timing controlled, and Cobb has no clue how to take full advantage of this feature and the timing map looks all generic and to tune it on the cobb you simply highlight big blocks of the WOT portion of the map and increase.

Ecutek actually shows a real legit timing map that you can alter, and they also have a lot of custom features where we make custom maps for the car.

This specific car has a custom maps for the following:

Failsafe if afr passes 13 afr (in reality thats around 12.2 in the GTR) they tend to log leaner then they actually run.

Failsafe for fuel trims if they pass a certain % past what I want

Failsafe for coolant temp, oil temp, trans temp

Failsafe for fuel temperature

Failsafe for overboosting

These cars are amazing. They are so safe you never have to worry about them once they are tuned and done because they run FULL TIME closed loop operation with two wideband o2 senors on board from factory.

Not to mention they are super easy to tune as well.

The boost pressure is read in absolute PSI, so subtract the 14.7 atmospheric pressure from the total value to achieve the actual PSI were running into the engine.

It was mostly 17.4psi

30psi is not realistic at all for stock turbos.

the quote is probably 5 weeks old. 😃
but it doesn't matter, to keep it on topic, i do accept your loyalty to your friend.

I love GTR, i think one of the most impressive cars on the road even stock.
