Pretty good pricing! Does anyone know the bulb type on the JDM VIII MR headlight? I assume it is the same as USDM but I forgot to look before installing and I've been too lazy since. The person I got the housings from had removed the bulbs for shipping so I can't even use that as a reference and would have to see the housing.

 

My friends jaw's drop and eyes get wide open whenever I tell them how much I paid.

^no info on JDM VIII MR headlight assembly? I guess I'll have to get off my lazy butt and dig around in there. I really hope I don't have to remove my bumper just to find out which bulbs I need.

 

Hi, i'm wondering if it's possible to put 6000k or 8000k kit in place of the fog lights. Has anyone done it? that way i can have twice the amount of light on at the same time. I have a 06 evo mr and the stock fog lights are not that great.

What is your bulb type? the brightest color for fog lights are 3000K and 5000K, otherwise the 6000K is white and 8000K is white with light blue tint but less lumen than 3000K and 5000K. Thanks!

3000K (Lumen output - 4000 lm) - Golden yellow
5000K (Lumen output - 3250 lm) - White with yellowish tint
6000K (Lumen output - 3000 lm) - Diamond white
8000K (Lumen output - 2800 lm) - White with blue tint
10000K (Lumen output - 2600 lm) - Blue

it's H11 fog lights. I was just asking if anyone else has used a 6000k/8000k color other than the 3000k yellow light in their fog lights, I don't really like the yellow. I ordered H11 8000k kit yesterday.
