ok, may be dumb question here, do you need to remove the panel to change oil and filter, or does it have access panel/openings to them?

Yes, you have to remove the rear section.

When ever I get around to getting my car on the lift again to change the oil, I'll be sure to take some pics.

sounds like a pain, is it time consuming to remove?

Finally got around to take some pics of the under panel. It's not a pain at all when you have to change the oil. Just remove 5 allen screws with washers. Two screws require you to use a 10mm wrench, but there is plenty of hand room.

I'm currently using Buschur Deluxe FM, we'll see if the panel still works when I upgrade to the Race FM.

Anybody know what size "threaded clips" i would need to attach the under panel to the front bumper since i prefer not to use the OEM clips?

Thanks!

These are the clips that I used (purchased from Pegasus Racing):

You have to pop-rivet them onto the bumper and then you can use bolts to hold everything together.

To get really fancy, I actually fabricated an aluminum "bridge" between my APR splitter and the beatrush tray to hold everything together:

Click through to my site. There's one more picture with a close-up. I don't have more pics right now, and the car is still in transit back from Canada.

this one? it's not clear how the splitter is attached to the underpanel (if at all)

did you use those metal clips to replace the stock plastic clips on the undertray?

If yes, then I guess the next question would be did you drill new holes in the undertray to connect the splitter/aluminum bridge??

we can take this off line if you like...

Hey guys, RRE is currently attaching dzus fasteners to my panel which will only take a 1/4 turn to unfasten. They have some of the fasteners done, but they're still researching the other mounting points since there's a gazillion different styles/sizes of dzus fasteners. Here's the progress on the front tow hook panel so far:

BTW, the currently shipping Beatrush panels comes with threaded clips for the front bumper tabs, but the dzus fasteners will make removing heck of a whole lot faster.

Dzus fasteners are sweet, but cost a heck of a lot more to install than the set-up I'm using. There's also no chance of the allen bolts I'm using getting loose.

The weight increase is pretty minimal as it's all aluminum parts.
