Bad box
Just wanted to give anyone who wanted to do a battery relocation kit a little advice. Don't pick up Summit Racings "Summit Premium Battery Relocation Kits" the only thing that is premium about this is the price. The box sucked as well as did the fitment. If you don't want to figure out how to mount this thing then don't get this one.
Thanks for the heads up, what was so bad about it? Craftsmanship, materials, welds, wire too small? I was thinkin of putin' one in my '72 Nova, maybe I'll spend a little more. Peace.

To start off with the box is complete crap. It is just a plastic formed box. There is little room for fit so any battery bigger then the stock one and you are screwed (width wise). The wire was perfectly long enough to run from the drivers side from the trunk, to the front of the vehicle, across the fire wall (cabin side), to the passengers side fire wall hole and back across the fire wall to where the old battery was, but that (unfortunatly) is all i have good to say about the set-up. The instructions were insufficent and alot of the hardware was not neccessary.....all in all it was generally a ****ty set-up.
