Frankly it's idiotic to charge $800 for a diffuser that is only partially CF (but mostly fiberglass) just because it's Voltex JDM-tizzite dawwggg.

Maybe the reason cheap replica pieces sell so well is because plenty of Evo owners barely stretch to make the payments on their car and simply don't have much mod money left over? I'm not one from that group - mine was paid for in cash and in any case I'm a student - but step back and think for a moment...

Just my opinion.
Praise the Lord!! You deserve a for that!!

Hey i know you didn't mean it like that. I just wanted to clarify just so people aren't confused and get the wrong idea about this whole situation.

Also i just want to add that in my opinion 72Tornado is correct. There is a substantial market that exists for replicated products. Many people cannot simply afford the expensive JDM name brand products so they settle for something cheaper that will get the job done. If consumers want cheap replicated products we can not help but to supply them because we are here to make money since we are running a business. Personally it does not make me feel good selling cheap no brand products but if thats what the market is looking for then i have no choice but to sell them what they want. to everyone that can understand where we are coming from. We were only trying to supply a product that consumers might have interest in.

72Tornado just because there a market for something doesn't really justify ripping off another company design and basically calling it your own. To the point that it so cheezzy that they couldn't even make up a new name for it but to call it the V-Style

Invision if it more of a supply and demand thing why did you all of a sudden post it up and saying it available through you guys along with a carbon air box which is probably another knock off of another brand then removed that following night closing all threads that where pertaining to a product that was being provided by you Invision, you know why don't you go and tell Voltex this and your theory about Supply and demand and how the market can't afford their products and that there a huge market that would buy a knock off of one of their products maybe Voltex and other JDM companies will understand too. Maybe they didnt realize that the market like their product so much that it would be better to by a replica then the real thing

Rippping off a design isn't cool but it happens, fact of the game. But when you buy a replica you are not buying the real deal you are spedning x amount for the knock off, not the original so its not really stealing from that company. Its more filling a niche market that the other company hasn't filled and reaching a group of customers that voltex can't reach. If voltex made an all fiberglass version that was priced competitvely with the replica then people would probably buy that instead but replicas are meant to target a different price bracket. They allow people with tighter budgets the ability to get the look they want for less with some risks involved. This is just my opinion on the matter take it for what its worth.

Get off your high horse. If it wasn't for the fact that you've been making so many grammatical mistakes and confusing the hell out of the readers, none of this would be an issue. It's so damn hard for most people to follow what the hell you're trying to say that now there are many people that think Invision is selling replicas as originals.

Invision had to pull most of their replica products because it was a move to protect their business. With you making it seem like they're ripping people off, you forced a vendor that is doing things in a legit manner to pull products off their website. They're selling originals as originals, and replicas as replicas. I see no con scheme going on here

Here's an idea, go tell DC Sports, Invidia, and Helix that they're ripping off JDM companies' designs. I know DC sports did not come up with the concept of a tubular manifold, Invidia did not make the first O2 housing, and Helix did not make the first test pipe for the Evo. Are these companies simply forcing JDM companies to close their doors because they're selling a similar product for cheap? No.

If people want the real deal, they'll pay for the real deal. For the people that can't afford to pay $700 for a diffuser, they'll buy the replica. We don't live in a perfect world where everyone can afford the very best parts.

If your friends got burned buying replicas that didn't fit right, it's your friends fault, not anyone elses. It's THEIR fault that they bought replicas in the first place, but give you absolutely NO RIGHT to attack vendors. Did they specifically buy their ill fitting replicas at Invision? You wouldn't get food poisoning at Jack in the Box and start making attacks on McDonald's because they're both selling hamburgers.

There is a market for replicas, so companies will make and sell replicas. Instead of attacking the people that make and sell them because there is a huge customer base, go attack the people that'll buy it in the first place. Business is about supply and demand. With no demand, there would be no profits forcing companies out of business. It's the fact that people want to buy replicas these companies exist.

First of all if you read the whole post i clarify that i am not accuse a vendor for making the knock off product. they just so happen to put their water marks on the pictures so if people got some confusion i am sorry.

As for DC Sport making tubular manifold it about doing your own research and fine tune to the application, lets just say it would have been ok for NRG to make a diffuser, it not ok to make an exact replica of one that already exist. Do you see a difference

ok i sort of saw where you where going with the DC Sport and Tubular manifold but what the hell are you talking about McDonalds and Jack in the Box why don't you take your proper grammar and stay on subject

I am using the McDonald's as an example. I never went off topic other than to give you a clearer picture of what your argument is turning out to be. Instead of trying to flame an example I was using, answer my questions instead.

Also that bolded part is to show you that YOU'RE the one that needs to read my post a bit better. I never once said you accused them of making the product, I said you confused everyone to the point people thought Invision was selling a replica as an original thereby ripping people off.

I will make this extremely easy for you:

Did your friends buy replicas from Invision?

Has Invision ever ripped you off by selling you a replica as an original?

If you answered no to any of these questions, I'm kindly asking you stfu because there is absolutely no reason you had to bring a vendor into this. If you were smart enough to see that a vendor's name is on the picture, you should've taken the name off by using photoshop, MSPaint, or any other picture editing program to keep their names out of it. The only reason I'm upset with your thread is because the only thing you're doing is messing with someone's business. Everyone needs to eat right? Stop dipping your s**t into someone else's livelihood.

evo ippo - if you have a personal issue with invision i say you take it up with them privately. if you have a problem with the product go ahead and give nrg a call (www.getnrg.com) maybe you can persuade them to stop production on this product. i think the reason why invision had to pull the thread was to avoid what is happening now. but that didnt work out too well thanks to you. people that want to buy the real thing deal will but for those people that think its too expensive will stick with companies like nrg/dc sports/invidia/helix. just because people really like the voltex product doesnt mean everyone will go out and buy it. to some people for the price it might not be worth it. on the other hand companies like nrg that makes a rear diffuser replica is capturing a certain market and if it is the best bang for your buck then i see no harm in purchasing that product as long as the quality isnt too far off from the real thing.

See this is the funny part there where no vendor accuse about making knock off products then how am i "dipping my s**t into someone else's livelihood"? i couldn't help if they put the water mark on the picture and posted it up on the "public" forum and on their blog for everyone to see

You don't under English very well do you? I said YOU confused people to the point where now you have people that think Invision if ripping people off my selling replicas as originals. Go back and look at the posts by other members of this forum that now think Invision is out to rip people off.

The only things you've proved throughout this thread are:

A) You don't have a very good grasp of the language.
B) You've attacked a vendor that hasn't even sold this replica diffuser to you.
C) You have absolutely no problem attacking innocent vendors.

Because of the fact that you can't speak English very well, I'm going to assume you've immigrated here. Now, I'm sure as immigrants, your parents own their own business as most immigrants do. Imagine someone starting a thread online that made it seem like your parents are out to rip people off. Don't you think that'll cause your parents' business to slow down to some degree? Have you thought about what you're doing right now to an innocent man and his family? People like you make me sick.

BTW, don't even attempt to start a flame war calling me racist. My and family I immigrated here as well. Based on the fact you're from Garden Grove, I'm going to guess you're Asian, just like I am.

You don't seem to understand how a market works.

Andysooo8284 just because people are confused about the thread how that any of my fault and you keep jumping back to me drag a "innocent " vendor through the dirt which clearly on i think page 3 or maybe page 2 no vendor is being accused of knocking the product off it more of endorsing a knock off and the having a knock off existing which is the cr@ppy part. Given that the post have grammar error, that my parents where immigrants, that i live in garden grove and that i am Asianand i don't really care if you are racist or not ?!?!???!?!??!?!? that has nothing to do with The Voltex Style Rear Diffuser does it, if people reading this thread any where got confused at any point i apologize for the confusion i just wanted to point out that there is a knock off available through NRG, Invision just so happened to post it up first no way am i saying that INVISION PUT NRG PRODUCT IN A VOLTEX BOX AND SENT IT OUT AS A VOLTEX DIFFUSER.

emagdnim8 I understand how this market works do i like it no, the more you endorse the more you give into it that it and if that statement you feel is dragging a vendor through the mud then that you opinion like the member above. Pretty much if the vendor was so buddy buddy with Japan they didn't have half a brain to think before they put their own water mark on the pictures, post it on the forums, on their blog and even clarify the confusion of it was an exact replica of the Voltex one or not. But now they want to worry about their relationship with Voltex, how is that my fault that they are being drag through the mud if anyone to blame is the individual that post up the pictures im just saying knock off suck anything else is up to the reader agree or not facts are facts Sorry Andysooo8284 you can talk all you want about my race, grammar or whatever you want but like i said blame the original poster if anything, remember i not like anyone took the vendors name and slapped it on a knock off it was the vendor clear choice to do that
