Binary Seat Lowering Brackets - Review
I want to say it was not possible for some reason. However, my experience with the X is limited.
I must agree with you though.... took the wife to drive the X as she was looking. After getting out of my VIII with these lowering brackets, felt like I was in a Coal Trunk when we went for the test drive.

I will be reviewing these sometime this week as I bought a used set last week... FYI Jid2 only has the Drivers side left, no more passenger sides, and doesn't plan on making a new batch...
Your going to be very happy with them. I don't think the passenger side is necessary but if you got the money then why not i guess.
I don't... my only guess is the hastle and money involved with being a vendor on the forums... that really kills your profit margin, especially for a small specialty service such as this... Then when your aren't a vendor, everything is word of mouth and is very hit and miss...
Alright guys had a chance to install these puppies yesterday when I go off work (9am) The first one was a pain in the rear! After I got the general idea down, the passenger seat was a breeze, and I didn't even take the seat out of the car... Opinions are that it is a solid product, and definitely changes your perception of the road and your surroundings... It will take a few days to get used to but so far I like the pedal position now. Get these while you can people!!!
Finally got the seat lowering brackets installed, and wanted to give a little review.
Install was very easy, following the directions, and all the tips here.
The tip I found most useful, was removing the seat out through the rear door.
Absolutely love the new driving position!! I'm even a small guy at 5' 6.5" and I can see out fine, and reach the pedals
Actually that's my favorite part about the brackets, they give you a straighter leg position to the pedals.
Awesome Mod. as others have said, it's how the EVO should have been from the factory. Get the brackets while you can!

Not likely... I can't buy a X cause the seating position sucks so badly... And it can't be fixed with these. Probably the only people that would let them go would be those selling the car. I'd check the part outs section.
Zeus, Jared has asked for local X owners for prototype brakets as of late just to give you a heads up... I am sure they will be out soon...

I'd L O V E to be wrong! Dropping the seats in my VIII was the end all, be all!
