AEM fail
so my AEM on my evo 8 has been acting funny, the usual if its retarded cold out i don't wanna start which is understandable.... i heard about that issue so i wasn't surprised. but recently the car will start to buck and then die for no reason, and the only band-aid is to stop the car, remove the negative battery terminal unplug the AEM wait 30 sec and then plug everything back up. its a completely random problem where it has happened 5 times in a 30 min period while driving normal and it has been times where it hasn't done it for weeks on end.
so fast forward to today when i call AEM and there tech support guy tells me... knock on the AEM. like a door and see if the car acts any different.. this guy wants me to bang on the AEM, i don't know about this guy but i don't wanna bang on my 2K EMS system. just don't seem like a good idea.. that's the end of my rant... it s probably going into them soon to get looked at..lucky me its probably gonna cost a fortune

If your car does not want to start in the cold it has to do with the way your cold start is setup. Your tuner can easily fix that. As for "banging on your AEM", this will not damage the AEM. They are asking you to do that to try to diagnose your issue. I would recommend you send it back to them and have them fix it before it completely stops working and you get stuck on the side of the road.

Yeah, its not the Tune. When you move the box the Fuel pump turns on and off. Sounds like something is loose in the box. It went back to AEM the other day.
