That's insane customer service honestly. To see a company actively go on a forum and search through these threads and respond in itself is astonishing, let alone owning up to a mistake made and then offering money back on a repair is WAY above and beyond if you ask me. Hope everything works out for the OP and another +1 for FP in keeping their customer happy in my book.
I didn't want to bring it up because it wasn't relevant and would just to toot our own horn.

This customer service is great to see. And the response on the forum no less. When it comes my turn for a new turbo ill just pick it up in person. I'm lucky to have FP so close to me geographically.
I've locked the thread since it seems this situation was solved quickly. I think the thread speaks for itself and the forum members will be able to make a clear decision on FP.
