LOL Well, the good news is that if it is only a different 10.5 turbine housing, then everyone can benefit from it if they choose to..

Wasn't the boost also increased by 1 psi for all the 2005's? Wouldn't that account for 5-7HP/TQ?

How close is the tune if you swap out the hot side. I have a Stage 1+ with a custom tune by Shiv and an XFlash. If I order the hot side and swap it out how much are my maps going to be off? 10% 30%? Would it be an over lean hazzard? Is it one of those upgrades that needs a new dyno tune? So many questions...

So what exactly is making all this really good power for the 05s? It it just the housing?

Being a DynoJet, the Porsche Exchange dyno would have read roughly 15-18% higher (divide your numbers by 1.18 and you'll get an approximate DD number).

The GSR, RS, and MR all share the same cylinder head and camshafts. Part numbers are listed below:

Cyl Head: MN155744
Intake Camshaft: MN143619
Exhaust Camshaft: MN143620
Intake Manifold: MN137746
Exhaust Manifold: MN156302
Down Pipe: MN135583
Mid Pipe: MR968097
Rear Section: MN153192

I've already pointed this out elsewhere on the forums but the MR does in fact use a revised (larger) compressor housing compared to the RS/GSR trims. Everyone is already well aware of the turbine housing.. All models do in fact use the same CHRA however.

CHRA: MD613507

'03-'04 All Trim levels
Compressor Housing: MD613567
Turbine Houshing: MD613521

All '05 Trim levels
Compressor Housing: MD613573
Turbine Housing: MD613524
***Please note that the MR turbine housing uses the same O2 housing as the previous models. You do not need to purchase a "MR" housing.

MR Wheel (17x8JJ +38): MN184113

Thanks for the info.

So the MR's larger compressor housing may also be a contributing factor to the increased power. Is this #MD613573 also for the MR? You have it listed under all '05, but stated that MR's have a different part number. What's dealer pricing for that part?

Damn n00dle. You ruin all the fun of arguing. I hate it when someone knows the answer and gives it away. The debate was just about to get heated up.

Just kidding. Thanks for the good info bro. I am going to have to order my hot side!!!!
