Well, that's a component right there. Driver plays a huge roll. Is he a good friend of you guys? Do the trade-n-drive and see what happens when you switch cars.

For real quantification, though, he needs to get out to the track. That will back everything up and prove the problem.

How do the 3 cars compare with each other that are the same? WHP? 1/4 times? If the 3 cars with the same tune are getting walked by the 1 car consistantly then the variable is with the 1 car and without all the facts its kinda hard to resolve the issue. My guess is the 1 single car must have a more aggressive tune and/or could have a part not mentioned that is being overlooked that could mean the difference in power. What is the dyno #'s between all the cars in relation to the posted thread? Without being in front of all the cars with the necessary equipment its kinda hard to resolve something over the net. I would take it to the dyno and check a/f again.
My suggestions were to try and solve a power loss issue, but from the info on the other cars i dont think the 3 cars have a power loss issue to begin with. Just my .o2.

dec 11th will be the determining factor. i've dyno'd on FIS's mustang w/320 so whatever evotexas baselines will be the end all.

we're going to have so much fun dec. 10th-12th!!! we have a fudruckers here too if anyone cares!!

oh and by the way me and evotexas both have extensively ran our evos together when i still had my 03 and we would run dead even, i dont think his car is any freak of nature as far as power goes. i personally think evotexas has found the best set-up for 320-380 whp on an evo. i mean we all have to agree that the exed can only do so much with a stock turbo, there is only so much power you can get out of the stock set-up. i personally would go with an exed if i had a larger turbo, i think as far as extensive engine managment the exed is really hard to beat, but if their is not a larger turbo or more involved engine mods it could be overkill. that is just my opinion nothing more, i like vishnu and think they make an excellent product, in no way am i picking sides.

Vishnu should know how much hp you can make with the list of mods you have so I dont think its the engine? Maybe something else is wrong with the car like clutch or whatevers.. Just a guess Anyways if I didnt read wrong both of you had your ecu flashed by different tuners so maybe that may be the problem.

Ok here we go my list of mods: Vishnu Stage 1+ which includes:

TB Exhuast
XEDE
Cam Gears
HKS 272 set at -3/-3
I am still using the stock air filter element.
I am not tuned by Shiv just their base map.

The biggest thing that I noticed was that his car spooled faster then mine. He got a car at the end of 3 and what amazed me was that in 4th he pulled about 3 cars. I don't know what is going on but I am going to get this resolved. My car does not feel slow but maybe it is just me.

To bad there is know one around here that know shet about XEDE. Gonna make a trip to GEORGIA!!

i think that EVOTEXAS has what we like to call a "factory freak". how bout this, asasin79, you run Tony, see how you guys stack up. Chances are you'll walk him because his car is sick. I really wish you could swap ECUs with one another, so someone could try the turbotrix ECU on their car, while you put the XEDE on the EVOTEXAS car...just to prove that he has a super strong motor.

I guess you missed Jason's post that he and I were dead even when stock when he had his 2003. I do not have a factory freak. In fact, when I had a Dynoflash I was getting smoked left and right. The TT mail in changed things a lot. I thought I had a factory "weak" actually.

NO evo is the same, i've had back to back cars with the same mods, same flash maps, make diff HP. Dont ask me because i dont get it. Thats why i really dont like doing mail in flashes for that reason alone. As shiv said, our tunes are not that off that there would be a 30hp diff. And you def cant compare the exede with the flash, there is more flexability and real time tuning with the exede, a bit more money but you get what you pay for.

EVOTEXAS,

Do you think the tt mail-in is the difference, or is it the MBC? Can the mbc hold the wastegate closed longer than an XEDE?
